I heard that this has gone free to play. Could somebody tell me whether or not that really means play to win?

    Are you trolling or just ignoring the Play free 1-20 ads all over this site?

    WoW does the same trial, is that P2W?

    Having subbed I can tell you the Silverwood events have been HUGE lately.  I know some of the LITE people were complaining that they couldn't buy the epic planar gear.  I think the PvPis also open.  Honestly, people are  chatting in /1 and /4 that the Lite lured them back into subbing.

    Try it, it can't hurt.  Games aren't always for everyone but you may find this is your game.

    Other than the cosmetic mounts from digital collectors and the spider add-on ($10 each) there isn't anything you can buy with real money except those and a subscription.
