D3 in a more darker look - we get it

For the ones who dont know already and complained (like myself) that D3 looks too colorful and not dark enough:

There is a tool out there, with which you can adjust the contrast. With amazing results imho:

The same tool is used in Skyrim called FXAA Injector.

I don't see why you wont be able to use this on BattleNett because Blizzard allows Bots / Hacks / Exploits etc already.

I like I like the brighter version to be honest, but then its hard to tell till you see it full screen and in realtime.

    Yeah right...........................

Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.

  • I prefer the normal version. The lighting seems to give everything a more cohesive look.

Ban it ? They can't ban it... it's not a D3 mod in itself, it's a direct3D PP filter, it doesn't touch the game, it changes your graphics output, it's operated within DirectX, by the way it's not just D3, you can do it with any DX comptatible game (because it's a DX feature).

D3 is already much much darker than Torchlight 2

also, heard about gamma adjustment and contrast adjustment on monitor? :)

  • One very noticable thing though is that the textures look very muddy and low quality in the bright version. They look much sharper in the dark version... I think the bright version but with the sharp textures of the dark version would be by far the best combination?
