For those of you who belive this will be a shootermmo...

It will not be entirely shooter. Your character will progress. You will gain levels, gaining better abilities and get better on skills etc. There will be rare loot, and things to strive for. Personal skill will not affect gameplay, as much as ingame stats and eq. All this is fact and has been stated by the devs (just dont force me to look it all up to prove it).

I just get so mad, when people seem to neclect and look down on the game, when they found out it it will be a mmo "shooter".

It will just be fastpaced as one, but the rpg aspect will still be there! Pleast dont look the other side, just cuz it seems to be different, I really have high hopes on this game. Give it the hype it deserve, to show the creators how eager we are to see the game progress, and see the outcome (and for the love of god, not making them scrap the game AGAIN, and start anew....).

And if you people think I post alot (I have posted on the 4 top threads or so) its not on purpose ;P

Not many people use this forum, so it just happened... I want to start discussions around this game ;P

    I am coming from a Planetside history.  Have been playing the game for going on several years now and have been looking for a PvE Sci Fi type game that is MMO.  Several friends are in the same boat.

     

    I am hoping this game can pull off what so many others have not.  Very excited and I look forward to hearing any news as this game progresses.

    THats what i thought when I first say TR, but after taking some time too check it out....  Ive changed my mind.  ITs now top on my list.... I truelly cant wait too get my hands on this one.  I think it will fit what ive been looking for..... perfectly.

    tabula rasa actually doesnt have any elements of a fps besides the fact that the characters carry weapons. It will still be the same old crappy "push a button and wait for attack to commence while you take a sandwitch" style combat.

    Are you serious? In that case I'll look forward to Auto Assault.. At least there should be an open beta so I wont go up front and put all my money on some crap... I would for sure have guild wars if it had an open beta...

    uh GW did have a open beta and a world preview in oct 31

    the beta was from nov to april.

    I for one, can't stand an online game where your character doesn't evolve, one way or the other. But then again, I don't mind personal skill affecting your gameplay :) I'm not one of them onehanded players with a sandwich - constatly - held in the other.
