"Our office in Seattle is filled with excitement and energy as we prepare for TERA’s very first closed beta test this weekend! To make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, we are hosting a “dress rehearsal” test tonight. During this pre-test, players will be able to log in using the TERA beta client and help us with testing our server stability.
The dress rehearsal test will begin tonight, February 8, between 5:00PM and 8:00PM PST.

Doh. I can't even get the damn thing to install.
When I want a single-player story, I'll play a single-player game. When I play an MMO, I want a massively multiplayer world.
ive been downloading it for 12hrs, and it say 41% complete. Hopefully they do one tomorrow as well and it will be done by then.

Damn...I sure hope the community will be better for retail...its like a troll fest on the server lol
I wouldn't worry to much about the community. The beginning of every new MMO the first few weeks will be trolls from WOW or other big name MMO's bashing the game (Why they are doing that while they are playing makes absolutely no sense but nevertheless). I remember when SW:TOR went through OBT and a week or 2 into live people complaining about how it was a wow clone and it was a terrible game, etc, etc.
I was pretty happy so far tonight I was able to play the KR game when it went live and tonight I went 1-10 without any crashes, lock ups, black screen (or any other color screens for that matter), and really no issues. Sure dealing with people being obnoxious isn't the greatest but I hope to be really detailed in any bugs I come across to help with a really smooth release!

Talk about horrible timing. I made one last check of this forum last night, probably five minutes before you posted this, then shut down the laptop and went to do other things.
Oh well, I needed to be productive last night anyway, so probably for the best. Maybe they will do another one tonight. I'll have to keep a better eye out!
