Questions on current state of the game

I used to play this game a little bit a few years ago and really enjoyed it but for some reason stopped playing it all together. I attempted to play it a few month back but got off due to lack of ability to play it with my terrible old labtop. However, i just ordered a nice new labtop that can run the game and just wanted to have a general idea of things such as the number of players roughly and if it is a similar game to the one i loved probably two to three years ago. I never really got too far into the games content, did a little exploring and a few months of sweating, hunting, and helping heal the players attempting to sweat. Aside form the new graphics engine, what has changed since then and is it easy to hop back into. Would you recommend me doing a small deposit(10-20 bucks) if i re enter the game so that i can explore more mechanics of the game as i never did deposit in the three months i played prior.

Haven't played it alot but I like the game. I keep it installed and play it every once in a while.
Did a one time $10 deposit. Sold sweat 1 time.
Seems like they increased the drop rate on stuff.
It's worth a $10 deposit to me when you compare it to some single player titles we drop $60 on

If you cut it too short you can always nail a piece on the end.
If you cut it too long then what the hell are you gonna do?
I usually recomend players to play for a few days/weeks for free, and then if they want to experience more of the game to drop what they woudl on a box at the store, If they enjoy that, then put in what they would for a subscription each month. The beauty is that its your choice how much (or little) and when.
You should check out this thread which is in this same section of the forum, the guy who wrote it seemd to have similar thoughts as you and really enjoyed the money he put in.

Playing the game, still new at it. Had to deposit cause found out sweating is so low price it is not worth the time spent doing it
So If like the game after completeing the newbie mission. (nice one on Arkadia) and once your new guns are all broke then I would drop $10 in game.
Hunting or Mining or the suggested biggest ways to stay about even with your PEDs. It is getting so hard to sell sweat on any planet you go to. Makes it tough for anyone trying out the game. So glad they put in the newbie missions to give a taste of what the game is like
