Ofcourse not :D. With this and call of duty blizz is filthy rich now haha. But you wouldn't think that they are holding 10 mil subs based on the trolls/haters on this site :)

2 million players is practically another mmo

Hardly good news by my book, but then it is WoW afterall this thing could take a mortar shot on the head and would still be alive

    "It has potential"

    "It sucks"

Yeah it lost some players to SWTOR and other MMOs but that's to be expected. 10.2 mil still most companies wet dream lol. Something they wish they had. I bet you even F2P MMOs dont have half that player number both active and non active combined.

Isn't Warcraft a free download in the Asian market and 80% of the 10.2 million are from the Asian market?

Pretty much this, although i wouldn't like to hazard a guess at a percentage it's still a majority one, a majority that doesn't subscribe in the way we do.

wow trial is free anywhere, that counts subscribers only (not free trials) but  yes it includes all markets

doesn't Farmville have way more active players? I think it's awesome that 10.2 million players still smile when they get bent over by that company, yet those same players still have the tenacity to say that other companies aren't doing enough.  Blizzard fanboi's are the worst there is.

All of my posts are either intelligent, thought provoking, funny, satirical, sarcastic or intentionally disrespectful. Take your pick.

I get banned in the forums for games I love, so lets see if I do better in the forums for games I hate.

I enjoy the serenity of not caring what your opinion is.

I don't hate much, but I hate Apple© with a passion. If Steve Jobs was alive, I would punch him in the face.

There are some F2P games that have claimed to have way more accounts (active and non active) than WoW, explample is Maple Story. I dont know how true this is but many F2P websites claim this (including themeselves)...

But that is fine because they didnt try to copy WoW, they are not trying to compete with WoW, they have nothing to do with anything WoW related lol.... you can see there that companies taht want your monthly fee give you crap for copying WoW and older  mmos.

10 million subs in 2012 aren't the same as 10 million in 2008.

wait what? on what other MMO 10 million people willing to pay money every month? As for China (not Korea or Japan) you have to buy game cards that can be played for 66 hours and 40 minutes.

theres a link there to the chinese battle.net. If you speak chinese you can understand much better.

is this comment good or bad? i cant tell. A game taht can hold its sub for 4 years (10 mill from 2008 to 2012) is a well managed game. Of course if it increases playerbase then is better, and if it loses playerbase is bad, but kleeping the same for years? thats not so bad at all....

Ofcourse not :D. With this and call of duty blizz is filthy rich now haha. But you wouldn't think that they are holding 10 mil subs based on the trolls/haters on this site :)

I don't like the game, played the beta, never subbed....They can keep every sub they have, its not a game for me.

Just don't confuse people disliking a game, and wanting something different, with hate.

Hopefully the people that like WoW stay there and are happy, and I this is logic, not hate, but those that like SWTOR...I hope it falls flat and fails, it won't, but I don't think I could take the next 5-7 years being SWTOR clones for MMOs...Their single player/mmo mesh is horribly done.

Wow super sleuth. We all know how the asian markets buy their game time. What we dont know is how much they are paying, because I can guarantee its not $15 a month and will be substantially lower than the price we pay. And yes like any super greedy company blizzard is super rich. But what is the point of devoting yourself to promoting a company and demonizing any others, when the company thats super rich gives absolutely NOTHING back and in-fact asks for more out of you! Everyone is already aware the CEO of blizzard felt people werent paying enough for WoW and wanted to raise the monthly price, marketing team said no, and now you get a bunch of sweet expansions and authenticators to pay for whooopeeee.

tahts the problem, people who really just dont like the game realise taht its a good game, just not good enough for them to stick with it. The rest(and most) of them just hate it for the love of christ... but there will always be trolls, haters, and undeveloped-minded fellows on the internet.

True at that. But then again McDonalds has the most people eating their garbage. I bet the Mom and Pop Steak house down the road from me wished they had as many customers as  well. Of course their food is far more expensive and far far far better quality and doesn't lend itself to the gimme a burger NOW crowd business wise.

Oh and if you really want to groove on the people playing it being oh so many...and that is what = good quality ok. Facebook kicks its ass then. Flat out and in less time so WoW must be a POS by that logic. And yes facebook has games. Znga also kicks WoW's ass flat out in raw numbers of people playing and paying.
