Question about Rift LIte

If you already have a high level character on your account, can you make a new one and play until 20?

 

The reason I asked is I tried logging in, but get an error 2001 code.

    Yes you can, I have higher level characters I can't play now but have no trouble logging in and creating characters, provided I can only create 2 per server (can transfer them after lvl 15 anyway).

    I don't know what error 2001 is, but if you can't even get in game (meaning can't get past launcher) maybe you should try repairing your client.
