Lol, still not worth it, even if they gave us 100 dollars return! They make it f2p, but nothing has changed! No news on it, no nothing. Only thing is, they give us things they wish would happen. I dont believe in those fairy tales anymore from HI! All talk and no action! They bring f2p, I whent and logged back in and all the same crap is still there. Non working chat (an mmo without chat lol!), bugs all over, lost items, no loot dropping, lag, rubber banding, no end content, no news on when or what is coming!
So, check it out all you want, I did it too and within the hour I was out again! Its gonna take them a whole lot of changing to even get a few people back!
Well, all these people asking questions on the official forums and no answers! All the new people that came in by the f2p model, just all left through the back door with a bad taste in their mouth! No chat working, no people wandering around, no end game stuff, not even an end game and alot of bugs!
People wont dig this, they will remember the company name and stay far, far away from games that will come from HI!
Well, i like the fantasy-roman setting and all. Hope they get their act together, keep some players for a while so they can develop the game further, i would personally dip in, but all this negativity sorrounding this game is scaring me

Hate this game so much you had to reply to this thread twice to get your point accross? Really.
Game is fun to play, play it. Or...you could hold an intellectual conversation with Mr. Excitable here, if thats what floats ya boat.
Now really, lets go over the truth here. Chat system DOES work, no it isnt the best ever seen, but it does in fact work.
I have seen people around when I play, even help them out when they need it. No people around, simply NOT true.
End Game, there are dungeon runs you can do when you hit level cap. Is it structured liek WoW to give you gear progression through constant repetition, no. If you want WoW end game progression, might I suggest......
Bugs, this one he got right, ONLY thing said here that was actually a fact.
Oh and as far as no communications, they help me every time I ask for it. Maybe they just dont like the tone of some peoples requests, we will never know the real reason on this one I am afraid.

Oh yeah, those 'end-game' dungeons, where they drop lvl 32 stuff, that you cant use, right! End-game was supposed to be 40 or 50 if I remember right. Not 30. But then thats not the point right? On what server do you play? I play the EU one and I tell you, the chat doesnt work, at least for me. For helping, maybe if you mail them, im talking about news on the forum, facebook, etc. They dont give news there, so thats a fact.

Ok, lets take a look at how its going now? Its been awhile since the f2p has been announced. What has changed in the meantime? Ive been online and to my surprise I saw noone at the places I was at. Now that doesnt mean people arent there, just that I didnt see them. What news have we had since this announcement....I havent seen nor heard anything....yet. Now with even RIFT giving the first 20 levels free for ever, what is the grand news for g&h? I really tried to get back into the game, I really did, but it keeps pushing me away and when im away, I keep wanting to come back! Its a hate and love affair, because this game can be so much more! But the silence is killing the last part of the game. The oooh so great news never came.
'All this negativity' is primarily from one person here, so take it with a grain of salt.
I've found it an netertaining diversion. I just wish they would do more with the estate, a that's an area that can become an engaging source of entertainment if developed further.

From one person? Ha! Most people dont even mind anymore. Why I keep posting is, because I wish this game would become something. I love the setting, the game itself. But I hate what they did to it or lets say didnt do with it. They where so well on their way and their ideas where great, but they just lacked the know how, the manpower, etc. to do it. Then all of a sudden they just stopped developping. Its a shame! I sure wish they would do something with the estate. But saying it comes from one person is a lie. Just check the original forums!
I bought the game a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately the EU server is totally dead. I played for 3 hours in primetime and it mostly just me, apart from one other person for an hour or so. It's totally depressing for an MMO and I didn't go back. This is a pity as I think the game is good.
I don't understand what the problem is. Maybe the low numbers is a viscious circle.
Anyone else play the EU server? Is it worth trying the US server?
I would appreciate any feedback at this point as I think the game deserves a chance.
The EU server is definitly dead. Has been since launch. The US server has a few more people on it, but thats all. When I was on the US server I saw one or two people per evening. No more. So, the game is definitly empty. Not even the own devs play the game. So, thats what its like. And indeed, the game does deserve more credit, if it was finished. The EU chat doesnt work, I do kow the US chat does work, but not always. Whats an MMO without chat huh?
the game is quite fun, i loved some of the followers you could get such as the octopus/kraken whatever it is but i dont use it anymore, i was playing yesterday and grouped with 2 other people and progressed 5 levels, this is on the NA server
there is players on the NA server it is not dead...
Well if that chat doesn't work that's just stupid. Not having the chat working is like pulling the switch on your games life support. I also am unable to post on the forums.
It seems almost as if they are not trying. Or maybe they are waiting on investment. In the meantime though, they could get people playing it and be more active in promoting it.
Let's face it, us MMO lot are actually a forgiving bunch and will play any piece of shit in the hope it gets better, and this game is actually pretty sound, so it has more hope than most.
We are aware of the forums issue and are hoping to implement a solution soon, if you had previously been able to log into the forums you are still able to however you will have to use your persona rather than your account name.
As for the Chat, the issue was fixed in September. If you are still having issues with it please make sure you are using the correct chat commands. If your are still having the issue I encourage you to create a petition or send an email to support(at)godsandheroes.com so we can look at it again.
Patch Notes from September for chat are as follows
Tribe chat will now only display chat/text from tribe members
Group chat will now only display chat/text from grouped players
Problems with Global Chat have been resolved, players should now see all outgoing and incoming messages in global chat.

Hey Metz, thats from the last update. How about new patches, updates, etc. You only respond to questions like this, but never to what gonna come or when. How long do you think the community will stick behind you?
