I played it at launch. Oh god the fps problems when you had an AMD CPU.

I ran the game 30-40 FPS, where I can run every other game 50-60 FPS without any problems.

Now that theres is a Lite version, I want to ask...

is this game about to die or something? Only few medium popped Shards rest low.

Dunno what your talking about population wise, theres several high pop shards, and population has been increasing lately, a few servers have even seen queues.

Anyways the game is doing well, the FPS issues ive never experienced, the engine isnt the best, but I seem to manage to stay at a decent FPS even in the big world events.

Lite is free, load it up and see for yourself.

As an experience of someone that hasn't been playing for that long (got it on the holiday sale, my only character is still level 35) population seems fine. Sanctum is always so packed with people that I have performance issues while there, I always run into people while questing, public groups aren't rare when closing rifts or invasions and during zone events I usually see raids of 10-15 people completing them (and that's on guardian side only, I've seen several defiants completing them that don't show on the raid window), and that's on low levels, which sounds good considering that a game that has been out for so long tends to be very top level heavy.

What can men do against such reckless hate?

Agreed, played Beta and 2 months before I canceled for other games (cough), came back over a month ago and the above post pretty much hits it on the head.  This is the MMO if your interested in gaming with other people.

    I can run BF3 maxed 60 fps.
Reckoning: Kingdom of Amalur 60 FPS.

And mostly any other games for steady 55-60 FPS.

At release, Rift was almost constantly capped at 30. Ran like hell. Which was the reason I left.

I will give it a try again, just have to redownload the whole game which takes ages on a 2mbit. What mainly killed it for me was the bad engine performance.

Is there a problem with AMD CPUs as the game runs fine at 60 FPS?
