    Schedualed conflict for 2 hours on the weekend ! Thats disappointing. (yes I know its beta....but thats the way the game is TODAY).

    I really do wonder why it's taking so long to find a Western publisher. They already have Chinese and Russian publishers. Maybe, they're low on resources and want to release their own game before designating a team to work on another?

    shame about sieges being limited to 50v50 (or even 100v100) that is a massive massive let down for me.. The more details abotu this game that come out the more it turns me off a bit..

     

    Still a long way to go yet.

    Yeah, seems their has been some cross breeding,damn he looks good.

    I can honestly say that i will leave GW2 once this game comes out in Europe.

    Think they really have given the dwarfs that western feel,this could come from any western MMO.

    And then the new eastern themed humans..

    I am not sure what the cause of the war is/was, have to finish reading the Lore translated over on AA Roleplay site.  http://www.archeageroleplay.com/        It might be mentioned in there. I do recall reading, no reference at the moment, something about the two sides being Nature vs. Technology, but cannot cite it.

     

    As to the factions, it is believed the races will fall out as Nuian (western Human), Elves, Dwarves, Fairy, with a Capital city that is western themed, Marianople. Some one pointed out that the Elf names are based on Greek, and the Nuian on latin(?).

    I just hope which ever english publishing deal it gets doesn't lead to a simple westernized version of this, with triple xp and linear quest paths full of low brow pop culture references thrown in to appeal to the more generic mainstream crowd.

    I hope we get to play what we see here in these videos, that's the game I've been wanting to play.

    What can I say? I like to hype myself up for every game just so I can wallow in my own disappointment.

    But seriously, everyone that's played it so far has said it's an amazing game and the fact XL Games have real beta tests show they want to get it right. It's kind of what I wanted Darkfall to be, I'm not bothered by the combat I just want that old clan rivalry back and ingame politics.

    yeah an 80+ day cbt4? that seems to be the right way to do things. iron out the bugs and whatnot.

    They extended the CBT4 until March 11 to allow further testing and development of the Siege system.  Much rather they take their time and actually test in the betas, rather than making people pay to test the broken crap they were supposed to be testing.

    Awesome vid. i didnt know under water action was like that. useing balloons to bring sunken chests to the surface is just an awesome idea.
