so i went over to torhead and saw this.

    Blizzard once did something similar if i remember right and Trion also had advertisement on WoWhead or something.

    It's ok and at least it's not some lame attempt of a side blow like "we're not in Azeroth anymore" or "join our Horde" that backfired on so many levels to a point at which it became a running gag.

    I mean, Trion could have pulled some move like that again, with some "this is not the droid you are looking for"-alike slogan on a SWTOR page, hinting to the Defiants' robots and technology or such.  Glad they didn't, probably still burned from that last one :)

    It's not silly... it's google sense. I am situated in Norway, so I see norwegian adds, like ColorLine (cruise company) and such.

    So I do not see any Trion adds either.

    thats just it, i dont see any adds. my blocker kills nearly everything in its tracks hence my question.

    It was surrounded by Rift 1.7 ads, all that black space was Rift ads basically. You needed a keen eye to notice it was a site about SWTOR, lol.

    I find it funny that after the exodus from TOR back to Rift, and after TOR was downgraded and Rift was upgraded on this very site, people are saying Trion is desparate to place adds on a site that has multiple databases of games on it. I just don't get the joke. I think it was funny when they did the whole "You're not in Azeroth anymore" adds but that was a long time ago. hmmm.
