    Ofcourse a fast motherboard with loads of fast ram is good, but try just buying a new good 3d graphics card. I use the Nvidia FX 5600 and I'm very satisfied with the result, but newer, better cards will boost your experience a lot. If you still find your game is slow with a new card, well then you need to change that toaster with a real box.

    GW does take alot of resources.  You do pay for the great visuals by having a drain on your system.  My guild, Xen of Onsolot, has lots of members and I have spoken with others that have similar problems.  However mine is not the speed, but the heat from the processor...  I have a small personal fan blowing into the case to help with that.

    it doesn't take much to handle a piece of shit game like guild wars. if you plan to buy a video card stay away from nvidia.

    Kuro, Nvidia is acually the favored graphics card to many gamers next to radeon. Do you have any evidence to support why it is a bad graphics card?

    Anyhow G-card dont boost game speed as much as Ram. (as long as you have a 3d card)
