The Asura are are probably my favourite MMO player race ever whether they are arrogant cold intellectuals or nasty little gremlins. Just all round win.

When comparing GW2 to TERA and several other MMO's currently in development, then answer is definitly NO.
But, art styles will of course change over the years, that's not a biggie, its the game mechanics that interest me, because I know I will get used to whatever art styles the game is using.

It's made by an American company, and one that split off from the battle.net/Diablo team long ago. I think you need to read up on the difference between a publisher and a developer. Visit the site and check out the races. It is not an asian theme at all. Guild Wars 1 though did have an asian themed expansion along with an egyptian one, and a.. I don't know how you describe.. religous one I guess?

It is a vicious cycle that bumps these threads endlessly. You can try to fight it, but in the end you will fail. Trolls don't even have to be clever or smart anymore to get a 15+ page thread. It is like a flaw of human nature.
