I havn't gotten mine yet and it's like 4 hours ago I registered it.

You actually think people have recieved beta invites the day they opened up
Confirmation =/= acceptance
Confirmation = application received
He is referring to confirmation of registration. Everyone is supposed to get a confirmation on registration but the server is loaded down. To confirm if you are registered, do it again using the same email. If you.are already registered, it will say "email already registered".
Or maybe he is assuming he will be invited.
Note that the confirmation email is just that you signed up - not that you've been accepted. You should get the email in an hour or less. Make sure to check your spam folders. If for some reason you don't get it go to:
http://beta.guildwars2.com/resend
and have it resent.

The moment the beta registration opened up, every major gaming website linked to it. Every major gaming forum with a gw2 thread mentioned it and even youtube had videos about it.
Needless to say, their server is getting swamped with registrations.
Not everyone will get a reply asap and they are probably trouble shooting it. Either way, reregister and it will tell you that you are already registered. Thats all the confirmation you need.
Obviously, always check your junk mail filter/box as well.

I always use one email address for beta sign-ups, but i didn't get my confirmation email, so i used another email address and got it.
I registered in the last 15 minutes, and got the confirmation on both my email addresses instantly. Both are AOL if that helps.
I had them resend it, so hopefully im in.
I never got it on one of my email addresses, but when I tried the other an hour later, I did. Both are gmail.

Have they said when beta will start?
i think multiple email can be detected because they ask for your computer spec before starting the application so i just have complete one to be sure and i have already receive mi email
so be patient im sure your receive yours in time!
sometime in March, likely 3rd or 4th week, will spill over to April, no need to re-sign up for future *beta weekends*

Is the beta sign up only for NA/EU peeps? Would you happen to know if poor ol' me will be eligible? I can't try right now because I'm at work. I must wait ~8 hours until I get home!

this beta sign up is for this spring so u wont get any info until end of march i guess.
