yay! the alpha is out now! so anyone who has it - plz plz plz send in some neat screenshots to the member-submitted screens. Im sure everyone will appreciate it!

    It would be good not only to get some screen shots but a little insight into the game play... what are your experiences?  How is the server? The graphics... what would you rec for a min system for optimal performance?  What are you running on?

    Sorry for all the questions just want to hear!

    Alpha is still a very early development phase--due to the inevitable NDA you're not going to see any user/tester screenshots until at LEAST open beta, if there is one. Until then, all you're going to get are any 'official' screens that Turbine deems worthy to show.

    Think of how restrictive most betas are regarding what can and cannot be shown. I can only assume that alpha is even more close-lipped.

    You're missing the point entirely. Anyone involved in this alpha phase of DDO will not be able to show any screenshots because THEY WON'T BE ALLOWED TO.

    Yep, that would be a good idea. Post your screenshots, then get your butt kicked from alpha altogether. Awesome thinking!

    oh, like turbine is going to know the difference between DDO.com/alpha member from an mmorpg.com member... besides, turbine most likely isnt going to go prowling around every website for alpha shots. So, i say... let's have some screens!

    You guys keep on waiting; you're not going to get anything until the game is further along in development..you won't get anything here or any place else.

    When you agree to an NDA you have to follow it or you run the risk of being sued, an NDA is not something to play around with. If you are lucky enough to get into any Alpha or Beta it is a privalge.

    Why ruin that privlage and the companies trust by posting screenshots on a website?

    DOAC is still the MMO I judge other games by, My first and still my favorite.

    ok i see trand's point and it is very very good. i wouldn't want to get sued. But could the NDA really track you down? I would go to an internet cafe with a floppy or something and post it on mmorpg. ::::38::

    You are entirely to greedy. If you had an alpha account, would you risk your alpha slot to show some screenshots? Not to mention the possiblity of being sued.  Think things through a little.
