Eq2 for my first mmo experience for sure. Age of Empires 2, so many nights of being incredibly stoned and playing endlessly.

Current faves would have to be RIFT and Batman Arkham City.

I'd say skyrim, but I can't get into lately. Maybe once some decent mods come out...Right now, I'm just waiting on GW2 and Blade and Soul. I'll get Tera and C9 a try, but I'm not expecting anything from them

Warcraft 1 had me plotting, scheming and drawing maps for hours during classes in middle school.  I had timelines written out in 5 second intervals detailing every action I would take throughout a scenario.  Definitely some find memories there.

Objectively, however, I must admit games are getting better and better.  Most recently, I've had the pleasure of playing Dragon Age, Mass Effect 2, the Witcher 2, Skyrim, and Batman Arkham Asylum/City--all of which are phenomenal.   It's really hard to pick between any of them, especially since they're all so different.  I'd have to go with ME2 as my favorite though, with Skryim very closely behind.

Wow so many good games listed in this thread, makes me proud to be a PC gamer.

Some others I played more than I should have:

WoW, X Wing vs TIE Fighter, Dungeon Keeper, Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, Call of Duty original, Operation Flashpoint, Total War series, Kotor, Rollercoaster Tycoon (I know Im not the only one who opened an unfinshed roller coaster and let people ride it bwahaha), Close Combat (and expansion, a Bridge Too Far), BACKYARD BASEBALL (Pablo Sanchez, greatest of all time), Mechwarrior II, FarCry, and probably a lot more I don't remember.

Some of these games I was playing at 9 years old, and Age of Empires II and Total war series taught me A LOT about ancient history.

Think I would have to judge myself based on how far I would go to play said game... the winner would be Civilization II... I spent 4-5 hours the other day figuring out how to run it in an emulated Windows XP on my Windows 7 machine, half the games these days I'm too lazy to even press a button to download it... but I'm digging through forums figuring out how to install Civ 2 lol

Icewind Dale  - my first forray into RPGs. Man I'll always remember this

Quake 2 - I liked Quake, Blood and the Doom series, but this one just really made me love FPS.

Unreal (not the UT series) - one of the best FPS I've ever played :P

One Must Fall 2097 - only fighter I could play non stop and not get bored of :P

P.O.D. - my first online racing game I ever played. Also the first game I ever played online, period. This was so much god damn fun.

Yes on  your comments on Civ IV and V.   I also like Skyrim and witcher(advanced).  The original one put me to sleep loading.

    Currently bored with MMO's.
