Kanoth will this game in any way be tying into the HBO series comming out set in rome?
Also did you guy use the same map from WWII online? The graphics and look are scarily similar.

No, RV has been in deveopment since 2000. About the map, WWII took place in europe, and so did most of the roman empire, so you may see terrain simularities. The game engine was created in house simply because the community requested features that could not be supported by other engines, so a custom one was needed.
And yes, although I have been working with RB behind the scenes for a few years, I was only recently given my official tag.
