Actually it won quite a few in Korea, not sure which ones specifically though.
Edit: Every year on the night before G*Star begins, there would be an award ceremony to honor the best in Korean gaming for the year. The highest honor would be the Presidential Award, which Mabinogi won last year (link). And this year, Bluehole Studio's maiden action MMORPG, TERA, clinched the coveted prize. TERA also won the 3 categories for best sound effect, graphics and character design.
Does anyone have a complete list of awards that TERA has won, or will win in 2012?
Unfortunatelly it won't win anything around here, because well, it's a korean game. People will ignore that it's a great game and will continue to praise garbage.

America is very xenophobic and self rightous. Just like many great foreign movie never recieve the fame it does else where than here because we like to think everything we make is better. Pretty simple truth, i mean its sad but how this society is XD
My enthusiasm for TERA's outstanding group-oriented action-packed combat had been tempered by a healthy skepticism about the developers' vague promises about a player-driven political system until this year's E3. A hands-on session with four other players against a high-level boss and details about the game's unusual politics – which sound like a clever balance between Eve Online's free-for-all galactic intrigue and a theme park ride MMO like World of Warcraft— have this at the top of my MMO list.
Do you want an MMO that does what World of Warcraft does, only without the benefit of an effectively unlimited budget and six-plus years of refinement, or do you want to play a game that offers something new? Personally I'm going for the "something new" choice, since I can always re-up my WoW account. TERA's player-driven politics and action-oriented combat are different enough to make me take notice, especially given how good the game looks and how well it played at this year's E3.
Our winner for best MMO at E3 2011 goes to Tera Online. While it was a tough field, we felt Tera stood out from the crowd with their impressive videos, graphics and action based combat. The combat system is what really won us over and looks to be a game changer for the MMO genre. We’re excited to see more and can’t wait for this one to go live.
MMO are moving closer into the action combat zone with their play styles. The first game to really bring this to the next level is TERA. The game play and combat move incredibly fast for an MMO and players will enjoy the quick combat in the game. With a UI that allows for some combinations and dodges, MMO combat will not be the same once this game hits the market. TERA continues to impress by having some of the best demos at game shows. If you are at a show with a TERA booth, definitely take the guided tour, you won’t be disappointed. TERA has all the features of a major MMO, but it is the combat in this game that really shines. We look forward to more as the game continues to grow and launch in the Western market. Fast paced fights and monster boss battles, TERA wins our best combat award for E3 2011.
If you’re willing to lay down your Warglaives and look past your Lightsaber induced obsession, you may find that TERA packs the cure for your MMO woes. TERA is colorful enough to keep your eyeballs at full attention, and innovative enough to warrant this glowing mention. Heck, after playing it a few times at E3 2011, we named it Best MMO, and I’m here to tell you why.
Publisher En Masse Entertainment is doing its best to concisely sum up and promote the game, as our walkthrough crew tossed out phrases like “money, power, and fame” and “all action, no faction” during our demo session. What are these catch phases eluding to? Well, for starters, TERA does not segment its player-base into factions. This is bad news if you are looking to add a new “FOR THE ” T-Shirt to your geeked-out collection. However, on a positive note, this does open the world up to the player base. As for the other buzz words — you’re going to have to read on my friend.
We'd also like to take this opportunity to present En Masse Entertainment and TERA with our Best of Show Award! As we explored TERA's political system, the demo shined as the most polished one we saw at the convention. Expanding the role of politics in-game will create a whole new dynamic for players, and we believe TERA holds a lot of potential for its North American audience. We'll definitely be keeping our eye on this game as we wait for details on the testing and launch schedule.
From GDC of 2010 to E3, gamescom, PAX and again this year, every time we play TERA all we want to do is play more.
Sure, the graphics are great, the world is begging to be explored, the story in captivating, but it all comes down to the simple truth that TERA is fun. The action based combat and the sheer joy of successful co-op group play makes this game an easy winner.
We'll be looking for you at later events this year, TERA. Please keep our seats warm for us. We'll be back soon!
TERA's gameplay is raw, unfiltered fun. A beautiful marriage of action combat and true MMORPG magic, to play TERA is to bask in gaming evolution. Combat is responsive and natural without dummying it down to a point where player skill does not matter. We all enjoy playing the game so much, we're already starting to fight over who gets to play it again next time.

Yup...none...
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
