Hi Guys,
I've been playing WoW for a while now and like a lot of people got totally burned out so I've been looking for something a little different, and here is what I've found....WWII Online. It's a WWII massive map fighting game where all the players are on one server and on one map. You can be Axis (German) or Allied (British, French or American). The map is Europe and you can fight in towns, outside of towns, on the sea, etc.
The interesting thing is that you can fight as infantry (lots of types from mortars to rifles, machine guns, bazookas' etc) to all kinds of tanks, to planes, to ships, to paras. The game is highly immersive, very realistic, with awesome teamwork and cooperation. Imagine you are attacking a town, and you can drop in as a paratrooper, while other players bring in tanks, artillery, snipers, etc, and planes are dropping bombs overhead....the battles can be really intense.
The game works on Mac and Windows, you can use a mouse or joysticks or both.

Lastly, I wanna say that I am not associated with the game or it's makers in any way, but I do enjoy this game imensly now and I thought maybe some other players might like it too.

I remember played this game before like 3 years , was fine by that time .. no idea what new/updates it got since then . Might give it a run once my char in SWTOR hit 50 and I need a break from it ..

I checked the game main forums and read many complains about game crash's , how stable the game is ?
It will get good pop if it goes f2p .
I used to really enjoy the game, I remember epic airdrops into England as Germans. I tried subbing a year ago to jump back in and to my surprise there was maybe an entire 40 people on Axis army, on a friday night. Saturday night was no better. What happened?
The game does crash every now and then but I mean once every few days for me....it's not really a problem....Population wise I've been having an awesome time last couple of nights, seeing lots of green tags etc. Please spread the word people - this game is really awesome, made by a small company that have busted their butts to bring an independent game into the world.

You can play for free just limited to rank you can get to. Do the trial once trial is over you can keep playing for free.
Yes indeed, after the free trial expires you can only be a rifleman, or paratroop rifleman, as far as I know.
