Casual Games/MMOs PLEASE HELP

Tenk575Tenk575 Member UncommonPosts: 116

Sorry for the dramatic title.

You guys mind giving some suggestions for a casual MMORPG or game. No real criteria other than it being an easy game to get into and have fun with.

Thanks fellas.

LoTR's, World of Warcraft, Rift, Age of Conan, lets see.....Star Trek, SWToR.  Pretty much all of those games except for the end game raiding you can casually group or solo most of the content.

planetside also but its more of a MMOFPS, world of tanks is basiclly a casual first and third person tank shooter with 15 v 15 battles and 4 different tech trees

Are people still active on Planetside? I used to play that game as a freshmen in High School. Been a long time. It was a blast back then with all the people.

yeah its active, but you need to subscribe which if you DO choose to subscribe your better of choosing the SOE all access subscription cause i think planetside 2 will be on SOE all access.

i just logged onto planetside and chose NC and there is 36 players in squads, 7 in NC sanctuary, and VS and NC are fighting on Amerish and /who in amerish said there is 26 NC there not sure how many VS but NC currently has the lowest population and a 4%+ exp bonus... no clue if this is peak hour but i seen twice as many when i usually play which is 2-3 hours from now

I dont think anything that requires a full subscription every month is casual, I have to be commited to the game to continue paying all the time, Something like LOTRO with the system they have setup where you can spend 5 bucks to open a new area is a great casual game.

Lotro on the other hand has bad PVP IMO, what are you into most OP PVP or PVE or a good mix of both?

See the giant banner for Elsword? I suggest that, its pretty much forced casual seeing as there is a stamina system. It is easy to learn and hard to master. A rather fun game to play with a good company publishing it. It isn't too difficult to level up in and when you hit the cap, all you can really do is grind a bit for some better gear/enchantments and really start learning your characters pvp capabilities.

Mabinogi- The leveling is rather easy and painless. Just doing the main story will have you leveling like mad. Not to mention every time you hit the age of 20 (3 weeks min.) you can rebirth to go back to level 1, thus gaining more AP to upgrade your skills with.

La Tale- 2D sidescroller, a tad annoying to level in your first time round' but it is still rather easy. After the first time to 80 (and thus the first job change) it is all smooth sailing if you want to do it again. A healthy amount of classes and very unique ones at that.

Trickster Online, my personal Go-to casual game. It is 2.5d and consists of 4 classes, with slight variations between male and female characters. There are four types (jobs) Power-Melee DPS, Charm- Tanker (Melee DPS as well) Sense- Ranged DPS (Sometimes melee) Magic...Magic DPS. There are 3 job changes in total for each class, and the female version of the second job is slightly different from the male version, they learn different skills. The male can still learn said female skills and vice versa, if they pick the Hybrid class as their 3rd, instead of going pure and continuing down their jobs path. It is relatively easy to level in but you will hit a snag from the 70s-80s or so. A big bonus is, EXP is increased when partying, if your party happens to be so lucky that it has one of each Type (1x of Power, Charm, Sense and Magic) you will receive double exp. I remember playing on weekend in said party with a 2x exp newbie gift, I think I gained...30 levels in that one day or so.

That is all I can think of right now, I wish you luck in your endeavors.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

There would been a time where I'd say PVP is the most important thing, but I just don't have time to dedicate to it anymore. I'll look at all the games you guys recommended and figure out out.

    Thanks again.
