  Wow, thats a new one for me, i've never heard of that problem...

  Huh, you've got me stumped on that one.  Lol I think its funny that you only see the Orc's axe at the login screen.  I wish thats all I saw!

  I can only think of 2 things--its either your service pack with win2k, or possibly something to do with your firewall/connection.

  First of all, I heard somewhere that users that have SP4 with win2k(or SP2 for WinXP) will have certain issues with the game.  I'm assuming that you're using USKO, so try going to the website and make sure you have the latest patch(1282 I believe).  If that doesn't work, try completely re-installing the game, and then patching again.

  The other thing could be your firewall.  I have Zone-alarm myself, and I haven't had any problems.  But one thing you could try is setting your security to medium(Click on the Firewall tab, and set internet security zone to medium).

  Other than that, you've got me stumped on what it could be.  You may be doomed to have an invisible char forever!!!!

  Hopefully other ppl have a better solution to this than I do

  Meny ppl have same problem. This is service pack 2 windows xp problem go too website knight and you see movie help. After realization all acts should be good.

  sry but i have to laugh... i'd like to c that too but only for a while im quite interested in how it would look like
  i'd never say this could be prob of SP... i would believe ur setup was somehow dmged or sumtin
  -this was ONLY a comment... they might be right cuz i've never seen it b4... so pls dun pull my words

  i cant belive it ... i ve downloaded patch newest patch (1283 i think) an the problem with invisible chars is still there. Now i installed the same client on my laptop from my boss its a 700 mhz amd with a 32 mb mobile nvidia gefore mx 2 --- same windows 2000 with same virus scanner and same zone labs software fire wall ... and there is it running wahhhhhhhhh........ but to slow for a good play (it takes up to 5 sec to move several meters in a township) now i can see stopmotions pictures from my and other characters...

  nope the troubleshooting guide cant help me at my problem.

  i dont see any characters (players and npc) at my screen but only shasows magic effects and the swords and shields and so on.....

  Hello I am Trying to play Knight online and i have a little problem. Um when i launch the game it updates and everything fine but when i hit start game it goes to this lil screen with a ORC looking guy with a full moon behind him and he is like ROARING (lol XD) but i just cant seem to get into the actual game. Please help me out here lol i really wanna play this game its pretty fun.

  That infamous annoying screaming orc is the login screen.  I'm guessing that the server list isn't popping up at all.  Try loggin in again, but wait a few moments before entering your name and password--the list wont pop down if you enter your info too fast due to lag.

  If this doesn't work, just keep trying it.  KO is the only game in the world in which you spend more time trying to log in as opposed to playing it.

  Well i would try to type in my name and password if there was a place i could see to do that, but i cant seem to see a place lol. Oh and thank you for the info now i dont feel like so much of a idiot lol thinking i was the only one with a roaring orc problem.

  Lol I cry myselft to sleep at night because of that damn orc.  Then it haunts my dreams.

  I dunno what to tell you.  Check to see that you have the latest Direct X drivers and whatnot.  Same with your video card drivers.

  If all else fails, try re-installing KO and patching it again with the latest patch.

  Lol, ok i will try to update my direct x and video etc etc lol i hope it works. And concerning the roaring orc lol yes he haunts my dreams as well
