Loot is awesome!  Some of the best armor in the game comes from drops off of monsters.  The more rare loot is found on monsters inside instances, but you can still find some good stuff hunting sometimes too.

Loot is pretty much the only way to get ultimate armor or weapons. You get them off normal monsters but epic items come of dungeons such as Molten Core or Blackwing Lair.

i play on australian servers because racism is acceptable there

Yes, you can solo all the way to 60, but as usual geting a group is always a bit easier. But there is nothing stopping you since you can pretty mutch do quests solo to lev 60.Still if you are a casual gamer and solo alot you could have fun in this game for months, as usual joining a good guild is recommended image

There are TONS of low-level players in WoW to group with so you won't have to worry there.  There are PvE servers (labeled as normal) which have optional pvp.  You must flag yourself for PvP to be attacked... so technically if you never say /pvp in game you will never be flagged and can never be attacked by another player.image

There are battleground for PvP also.  One is a long, drawn out battle named Alterac Valley and the other is a quick Capture the Flag named Warsong Gulch.

Another thing great about wow is.  Even the priest can solo decent.  Not as good as others but can do it np.  They all get rested xp to.  So when you log in a inn.  You gain rested.  For certain amount xp is given at 200% for certain amount of xp.  The max is 1.5 lvls of rested.

if you are a loot fiend then WoW is not the mmorpg for you. if you ninja loot with your instance group your name will be spammed in the main town and everyone will blacklist you plus you will be posted on the forums. pretty much if you ninja loot you lose your respect and reputation on the whole server which means your character is just a piece of shit and won't be advancing any further.

crapiest loot system ever, its designed to keep farmers from getting loot and selling it to make money with.

only the really good loot comes from dungeons, and it binds to any one who picks it up, all the non-bind on pickup loot is crappy as hell, cept for a couple of exceptions, making it impossible for us who actually have lifes to get loot unless we want to spend 3-7 hours in molton core.

You can get loot from mobs or buying it on the AH, or through quests. The best loot is bind on pick up which means you must loot it. Green drops are easy to get or buy, mostly. Some blues can be bought but many are BoP and drop from a BOSS or are a quest reward that requires a boss kill. To get the item at a level useful to you to will need to group.

Soloing 1-60 you will be fine, though you'll need to group for the best stuff. At 60 though you MUST group for better gear. Soloing stops at 60, except for farming reputation or cash.

Well if your horde and you like to solo, go on a PvE server, cause all alliance i've encounter always travel in groups on PvP servers, and horde usually prefer solo, unless griefing starts, which it usually will(lowbies trying to get honor.)
