    I belive in certian area like if your gather wood, you carry it on your back and if your attacked you will drop it, but to my knowlage its not going to be gear or gold, i might be mistaken though.

    You have a main 50 slot inventory. Gold and everything you put in that main 50 slot inventory is safe.


    If you have to carry more, or carry big items (like lumber) than you need to carry bags or Backpacks. But carrying extra bags or a Backpacks will reduce your movement speed. Even on a mount.


    Bags and Backpacks can be looted. But the more stuff you loot the slower your movement speed, and you can only loot one Backpack at a time. (Carry all the stuff is heavy you know..lol)
