Regular RPG question

This is a non-mmo question... Curious if anyone knows of any decent free/cheap game engines that use decent 3d graphics and stuff. I'm looking more for one that I can use to make single player games with. Maybe including a multiplayer mode, but moreso single player. Any suggestions would be great!

    Plus a few more. It sounds like you're not looking for "game engines" so much as "game makers" (as by the "Regular RPG question" title), if that's the case I have no idea if those even exist.

    CryEngine 3 (Crysis) is free, the only rule is you can't sell your game. http://mycryengine.com/

    Theres the hero engine as well and it has a lot more "rpg" stuff built in sposedly.
