I agree with the crowd. when around friends there's the occasional, "Damn, where's my car keys?" but some people just need to expand their vocabulary if they use it all the time. And yes, cuss words make stand up comedians Much funnier. It's the shock value. Even though most of us hear it everyday on TV (or if you keep less than desirable company..) It still makes something snap inside and demands attention.

I swear, but there is a time and a place for it. I don't do it around people I don't know. When I game, I never do it in general or guild chat. I also don't tolerate in either of those channels, because you don't know who is there. I totally understand a slip of the tongue in person, but the fact of the matter is it takes a lot more effort to type something than to not. It's something I *LOVE* to point out to people who are too lazy to type out 3-letter words like "you", "too", "are" yet make the time to type out "c***su**er".

Correct me if I'm wrong. But the word "Fuck" came from the abouts the middle age acronym describing a punishment by law which was, F.U.C.K., "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"; which I believe entailed pre-marital sex.
Oh, as for cursing. I think it's fine in moderation. Everyone curses sometimes when they're either really mad, frustrated, possibly even sad. But when someone goes around putting the f word before about "every f***ing word! Because they f***ing want to! f*** it!"
Well...It highly annoys me. To put it bluntly; people who have cursing in their vocabulary and abuse it more than a red headed step child: not only does it lose it's intended shock effect to symbolize a certain emotion, but it makes them look like classless trash.
