Yay.... 1st and all that. I'd like to say I want a beta key lol, but I'll pass :P
I'm not quite sure what the point of this thread is--are you saying people should/will give beta keys or trade them in this thread?
I'm guessing it's to discuss the ongoing contests and where to find them, although I'm not 100%.
Oh and ofc inb4 'key gief pls, i long time diablob fan pls give key' etc.
I'm with you, man. I've been on the net before there was a net.. (bbs's, modems, etc).. I don't think I've ever seen one of these "me too" threads ever actually produce anything. If it was a contest or drawing, that would be one thing... but the "please give me a beta key" threads like this? It does kill time, if that's what your goal is.
i would realy like to get hold of a beta key, want to play with some friends that already got keys

Whats a guy gotta do to get a beta key around here. I think I've signed up for every contests my mouse pointer traversed since September with no luck.

Been trying forever. I just resorted to buying diablo 2 and LOD digitally and am downloading and installing now. Haven't played in forever will probably be more fun than any MMO out right now. Just got into the DOTA 2 beta though so that is giving me some fun times.
If someone finds a way to get me a key karma will reward them greatly.

While I understand the desire to get into the beta, I can tell you, you aren't missing much. The videos and screenshots give you a very good impression of the game. Unlike SWTOR or many others that somehow convinced 1000's the game was more than it actually is Diablo 3 is exactly what you see!
With the level 13 cap most of the game is unavailable.
I have several friends who are welcome to use my account to try it out and haven't bothered. Don't get me wrong, Diablo 3 is going to be an enjoyable game and I plan to play the crap out of it... BUT, the beta is meh. Content so limited and so easy you don't get much enjoyment.
Plus I don't see how it's even a Beta. The testers outside of blizzard employment don't seem to be involved in any real feedback or gameplay improvements. Just bodies to fill the servers up and test load balancing and network stability?
Heard you guys have keys in here. While I understand where the poster above me is coming from, my expectations are tempered. I'd really just like to get a look at the gameplay.
