OMG I won an AC ToD game woot

I can't believe my luck  image, I have never won anything ever.

Now I can get my hubby to play again image

 

If you ever played AC1 come on back, its loads of fun again and the first patch comes out on the 17th and if you read turbines boards you will see whats coming. Well worth coming back for   Woot

    I actually won too, first time for me since I joined.

    I wonder... What do you put in the little survery for your favorite MMORPG when you enter the contests? I always checked AC1 as my favorite (even though I'm actually banned for macroing). So, its funny I'm banned from AC1, check AC1 everytime as my favorite for the past year, and end up winning an AC1 contest.

    Same thing i am so lucky and do they send a fed ex guy or something or does it come in a package and do ineed number one to play this

    Strange... I'm wondering how "random" these contests really are. It could possibly be that no one bothered entering the contest except the AC fans. I doubt it though since it takes almost no effort to enter. I enter every contest regardless of whether I really like the prizes or games. It's free stuff! Maybe they actually put weight on the "favorite" game question, so it's not really a random contest after all.

    Well I for one am a WoW fan, and didn't even come close to checkin off AC:1 for favorite games :P I just clicked fantasy in general... and here I am with a winning ticket :P Never played the game, lookin forward to trying it out, if any of you vet's wanna assist alittle noobie, send me a message!

    i can sell the sgined box on ebay for $100 maybe but i saw some buy a pokemon card for that much on ebay

    Deathblade, I will help you out in game  :)

    I'm on the HG server and my main toon is Sherri, we have a great guild and they are very helpful

    we also do a lot of questing together and hunt together.

    When you get in game do( /t sherri, ) then your message or you can (/friends list add Sherri ) that will let you know when I am in game.  I'm on est time and I usually on in the evenings as I work in the day time.

    Yeah I won also. Checked Fantasy and Shadowbane. I think the contest is random and the favorites are used for statistics on which games and genres are most popular. I tried to check the game out, downloaded the video and all it did was restart my computer when i tried to watch it, so don't know what to expect, but guess i'll try it out.

    I won a copy of Anarchy Online with all the expansions, and I ended up giving it away to some random person on this site. Now I won this. Why can't I win a good game? lol

    I won a 1 one year account. I did the confirmation, but I haven't heard anything else. I'm waiting to hear something before I buy the game. Has anyone else that won one of the accounts heard anything? ::::37::

    I entered, I won a signed copy of Throne of Destiny, which is ironic because, despite a bad experience with Turbine's customer service, I had already bought. Oh, well, it's a nice souvenir, I guess.

    Well I entered and didn't win, so not everyone won. =)

    I wouldn't have minded giving the game a try again, but really don't want to buy the new expansion right now. Will think about it, maybe I'll try again... hmmm.

    If you had Asheron's Call:Dark Majesty, then you can still play. You just have to download the graphics update from the ac.turbinegames.com website. You wont be able to access the ToD content, but you'll be able to play any updated content prior to ToD.. and see the new graphics.

    Good point, about just installing DM again. Though, I need to find my disk and try to remember what my username was. Plus I need to move it over to Turbine I guess.

    I was looking at the ToD box tonight, but talked myself out of it. Apparently I could have bought it and gotten the pre-reg box for free as well. Will think about it some more tonight and might run over tomorrow and grab it, though I'm also thinking of giving Horizons a shot still, the free trial I mean.

    You can download the game software from the turbine website. You also migrate from the website. Save yourself the 30 bucks and just migrate your dark majesty account. If you like what you see, then buy the expansion.

    Definately get the box with the pre-order kit!! You can buy it online at gamestop if non of your local stores have it. Reason being, if you don't want the pre-order box... you can sell it on Ebay for about $30 to someone who wants one for their account.
