Any good runescape accounts my little bro could have?

Trolldefender99Trolldefender99 Member UncommonPosts: 416

No new accounts please.

My brother is 9, almost 10 years old. He wants to start playing online games...so our parents say either toontown (no thanks) or runescape and a couple others that he found which weren't too good.

I wanted to have him get a good start playing, so can anyone be kind enough to give him your account if you dont use it anymore?

Email it to Vendayn@gmail.com (its partly mine, but he uses it a lot more and I barely use it)

Thanks :)

You know it's probly better for him to start his own I mean he'll get used to it make new friends and not have the enemies of the account he's playing. he'll also get my help and support cause I'm partly new to runescape aswell.

guild wars is also a good game to play but the down side is you have to buy the game. my brother might be able to help him if he plays guild wars though. You can email me on your decision gamaradiation326@gmail.com

Look, 10 year olds shouldn't play that game at all, it's too difficult for them and the only thing they do is annoy other players with their lack of english.

Have to be 13 years old to play what runescape, guild wars, or guild wars rouge battle. You have to be more specific when writing things, or whomever reads what you wrote will not understand what your trying to say. Like "I want go to beach now."

Your brother should really get into MMORPGS with a fresh start. Just ruins the experience if he doesn't.

Lasser wolf is right what do you think might happen, if the old user of the acount had lots of enemies it would be hard for your brother to make new friends. friends help you learn and help you not make a fool of yourself.

Ummm, i could be mistaken loner but i believe he did specify what he was talking about considering the fact the he quoted you on the game he is talking about. See, you have to actually read the post your commenting on, otherwise people won't understand you....imageimageimage

But on the topic, IMO you should let your little brother start out his own account. It could ruin the game, whichever one he plays, and he might not want to play anymore mmorpgs. Then there goes another dollar sign for the gaming industry. image What, once again IMO, you should be asking is for somone who is already playing runescape, either just started or a veteran of the game if they could give you what server they play on and their screen name so maybe they could take your little brother under their wing and help them out, or to make friends and team up with if it was a new player. image

Demonicas is right. I can help your little brother play runescape. I'm sort of new and have lots of friends playing runescape. My friends and I can help, just give me his screen name and I'll add him to my friends list. My screen name is the one I use here The_loner6, have him add it to his friends list then he can send me a message that he started. imageimageimage

That doesn't make scene to me buddy. Why would you want someone to start NEW in mmorpgs when you want an Existing account for him to start in? Why don't you just start him off in Runescape and play with him. This seems weird to me.

I suggest Kal Online but you know ToonTown has good ratings.

what is toon town like? I've always wondered but I'm to lazy to find out on my own. So what do you do, and what does it look like?image

Go in the Game list of this site and look it up. If you can't find it in the list, press Ctrl+F and search.

What, may I ask, is so sad about it Magnus? All the guy is trying to do is introduce his little brother into online gaming. Now granted he might be going about it in the wrong way, ( see my earlier post ) but he has the best of intentions. Nothing wrong with wanting to get your little brother interested in somthing you enjoy, it would be a great way for them to bond and become closer as brothers and friends.

Unless this guy is just scamming and trying to get free acounts there really isn't anything wrong with it. Though I wouldn't blame anyone for being reluctant to give over an account to somone considering how many people there are on RS that would pull a sad stunt like that just to get a few coin or sell the account on E-Bay.

However, saying that this thread is the sadest you have ever seen is a little over exagerating don't you think? I mean, in the two years that I have been a member of MMORPG.com I have seen many threads that would be deemed sad and just plain wrong.

On a side note, where are all the old members? I have been away for maybe 6 months and recently returned and in every thread I have seen, I have been the oldest member. Granted only by a few months but still, where did everyone go?image

i play runescap and personally i think 10-year-olds shud have a more exciting mmorpg than runescape b/c they typcailly have less patience and would get bored easily with the tutorial island. frustration that it takes so long 2 get money and gain lvls will likey make him lose interest in mmopgs for good.

dont choose a game that has too many features, make it a general mmorpg that is pretty much like them all and doesnt stand out too much, so that when he switches or tries other mmorpgs, he wont be accoustomed to runescape and thus not like other games. make sure you choose a game that's very exciting, easy to navigate, and not too hard, where u get stuck all the time in quests, missions, or things like that. make sure it has nice ppl there, too. i notice in runescape that a lot of ppl call u a noob a lot, and that could be very discouraging after a while.

I overexagerated by saying it's the saddest thread but it does come close. Why? I don't really feel like explaining.

How patronising, why would'nt he be able to play guild wars? Its so easy its beyond belief i was able to play far more complicated games when i was 10 and don't see what problems a 10 year old would have with a play by numbers game like guild wars.

Well I have a lvl 60 black mage!!! Well no that is to high for him...MY main was knightknife lvl 85 but i dont play anymore. I seriously suggest that he starts from the beginning and does all the non-members quests and gets close to lvl 60 attack so that he can use dragon weapons. I would also tell him to get all his stats to at least 30 before he becomes a member. His mining should be at least 50 before he becomes a member and I would also suggest him to be a warrior. Basically he needs to do everything there is to do in non members before he becomes a member or else....well he will be lost.

Now time for the sad truth about the game.....It has horrible graphics and there are tons of scammers and hackers. It takes way to long to lvl up and the word "noob" is way overused. There are tons of immature people who play and annoy people. Annoying questionable updates are constant and Jagex does barely anything to members if they disobey the rules. (the forums are pretty fun to flame in though) The customer supports is crap to.

The main things I liked about the game was the well thought of PvP with hardcore penalties. Castle Wars is pretty fun and alot of the quests are great. Weapons are easy to distinguish between one another and there is alot to do in the game. Clans are fun to join but they expect alot from you. The game is really easy to start up and making accounts is easy. The forums are pretty good since there are people that all they do is use the forums.

If the game didnt have so many scammers and mean people I would definitely suggest this game for a little kid. But he needs to start from the beginning. If your really desperate for an account go on ebay. 1 million gp runs around for about $20-$30 dollars US if he needs money. (its also a great way to make money now lol)

the warc is right, little kids really annoy me in games with there noob attitudes!

older people 15+ will be noobs but grow out of it and know how to act unlike kids! i play various games including RS, i got a level 105 account in RS and i really hate how noobs act towards me!
