In The Spotlight, we take a look at games that warrant attention for various reasons such as interesting features and/or play mechanisms, greater popularity than some might think, etc. The focus is primarily factual, the goal being to provide substantially more depth than a typical one-paragraph summary in order to help you better assess how well the title fits your individual tastes. Today we take a look at Combat Arms. Read on and then weigh in with your thoughts in the comments.
Combat Arms is a leading free to play online multiplayer first-person shooter. Said to have more than five million registered users worldwide, it claims the distinction of having the largest arsenal of weapons in its entire category. The basic style of primarily squad-based gameplay is familiar, but considering that a dozen mission types (modes) and at least 30 war zones (maps) are available, it seems obvious the designers at Seoul-based Doobic Game Studios have aimed to accommodate a wider than usual range of individual styles and preferences. There is broad scope for visual customization of the characters, which are also flexible in terms of their roles since there is no class or specialization system.

I quit playing over a year ago. It was mildly fun but cheating ran rampant. Don't think this article belongs here though.
stay clear of this game its very hacked and nexon they ban the hackers but since they arnt baning there computer or ip the hackers can be right back a second later after making a fresh account.
if u can get past the hacking the game is great but since i been playing since release off and on i can say the hacking gets old and if u mod rooms its hard to tell some times whos hacking whos not so its just not fun any more for me.
This is the reason why you have to pay for good games and why not for bad ones. Quality cost money and if you want pay for it.
This game is NOT ruined by hackers. Fact.
How to avoid hackers. Pay for elite moderator privilage. OR become Major 2 rank like me and have it for free for life :d /kicks hackers.
This is the game that turned me into a FPS lover. I got your back nexon!
Townhero- Combat Arms- WestCoastKillers
Hero Evermore
Guild Master of Dragonspine since 1982.
Playing Path of Exile and deeply in love with it.
This game IS ruined by hackers. Get this if you want to spend your time ditching every other match due to some idiot with hacks, or if you want to play a game that's only "free to play" if you change the definition to "free to play as long as you don't by getting pwned by all our purchasable items that basically act as cheats against non-paying members".
This game was fun at one point, but it has becomne so deeply flawed that I believe it is beyond redemption barring a complete restructuring of Nexon and rewriting of the game.
I played this for awhile, about 3 months.
And unless youre running hacks, which I'd say about 60%-80% of who I played against were, its just a waste of time much less money.
I would say at least every two or three matches you'd see someone flying. So Im not talking shit cause I got shot by someone else, this game has such blantent hacking/cheating its worse than CS match on a hacking server.
Stay away.
Play CS instead, most private servers will at least kick/ban people overtly cheating.
"I understand that if I hear any more words come pouring out of your **** mouth, Ill have to eat every fucking chicken in this room."
Yeah the amount of cheating in this game was absolutely absurd.......ALmsot every single map there was cheating galore.
