Anyone know how they are goin to bill you if you play COH and want to play COV also. I heard you might have to pay another 14.95 fee and also heqard it will only cost a couple of extra dollors to play both. Any info would be nice

The developers don't want to charge another $14.95 for people who have CoH. From what I've heard, they are talking an additional $3-$5 a month if you have both.

It is up to the producers what the price will be. As it stands now, no firm numbers are out.

your arguement is so persuasive, so filled with knowledge and insight. You back up your argument very articulately, with suggestions of improvements and raising examples to glorify your position....oh wait, you didn't

The last that i heard the 14.95 would cover both. But i'm sure Pyro is right.

I've got a little question about CoV myself. Do I have to buy it in order to PvP against CoV players? I have no interest in playing a bad guy at this point. Beating the ever living snot out of bad guys that are controlled by real people sounds like a blast though. I'm just wondering since the people at Gamestop are selling it as an expansion rather than a completely seperate game. If they're charging seperately for it, then it's a totally different game.

Fighting player villains would indeed involve purchasing CoV. Such combat would take place in zones that are not in CoH currently. And bases are in CoV as well, so fighting in bases would involve CoV once again.

I'd be willing to bet though that such things will be added to CoH itself in time, and the line between the two will slowly blurr.

Pre-order will give you an unique "item".  Well, this is what they say.  I dont know if they really mean an item, or more mean an unique customisation to a part you have (like unique cloaks), or even a unique item to put on your costumes...or really an item that help you.

I would bet it is purely for the look, but for me, as long as the Hamidon HOs give an edge to those raiding, I wont buy or pre-order anything from that setting, CoV or CoH (nor would I resume my subscription under ANY consideration).

If you pre-order, you get a helmet. It's a different one depending on where you place your order. Be careful, however, the helmets are gender specific and only one is wearable by female characters. I find it a bit silly that they made them that way. I'm sure the item is cosmetic only and if it's anything like the prestige power I received for pre-ordering CoH, the novelty wears off in a few minutes. I'm not very interested in making a character who wears a helmet anyway... but that's just me.

There are already helmets in the game, so a new customisation for helmets then. Not something major that will make you enjoy the game if you dont enjoy it anymore, but something that will make players already subscribing pre-order if they intend to buy CoV, it is a feature against the middle man, the guys at EBgames for example...which can also backfire on them, those middle men may advertise more for the competitors after such feature and just leave the box on a hard to see shelve. I dont have a pro or against opinion, for me, as a player, it is details I dont really care about.

I have 2 helmets on existing toons...well, 1 is a full medieval helm, but still, it already exist. Just a new look, like they did for the cloaks.

I'm wondering how will it work with the time cards. I'll assume they'll have one for each, CoH and CoV, but will they make one for both?
