Only problem with the Legacy system, is that Alt play is NOT fun. This game doesn't have the Alt FUN aspect that WoW had so therefore this Legacy system isn't enough incentive to making playing alts less tedious.
What aspect in WoW made alt's fun?
The combat. Being able to see 1/3 of the world I had never seen on my other character. The combat. Enemy AI. The numerous different zone choices to level in. If you weren't a fan of WoW then don't respond, those who were fans know what I mean, most of you. We all have our plethora of alts some of us with 4 or more at cap others with an even higher number. Each class feels totally unique.
i've always found alt grinding to be a chore in any MMO i've played.
Why not edit out the scramble for finding the note relating to the guild capital ship? Seemed odd really...

On a side now, I find leveling in SWTOR more enjoying than any MMORPG that I've played thus far. I PvP a lot and do class quests ~.^
If all I had to do was the sidequests, I wouldn't mind so much. But the combat being as stale as it is....just makes even the thought of grinding a nightmare. Every enemy reacts the exact same way as every other enemy from level 1 to 50. Top it off with tedious boring sidequests that don't change either and are over glorified with voiceovers. No vehicle quests like bombing stuff, 1 escort in total did I come across. The rest are go kill this many of that, collect this many of that and click on this many of that. They just aren't done as well as other games like WoW, Rift, EQ2, Lotro and they completely ruin any immersion into the main class quests as a story like that needs to be paced well to work. Sadly, the side quests in SWTOR throw that pacing off in the worst possible way.
Although you did say PVP and class quests. That's fine...but holy crap that takes forever and a day and if PVP during the leveling process was more rewarding, I would agree. However, it's not. You get NOTHING for each valor rank and are expected to go through 50+ of them before they actually matter. If they had given a reward of some sort to help in PVP every 2 ranks then OK, but they didn't and aren't.
Just a question have you actually played more tahn one class or faction on swtor? Because when I played a cousilor, Trooper, bounty hunter and smuglar to start with I got to answer differently for the missions that were not class specific thus create varity you claim the game does not have. I was just wondering. Also combat is different with every class and the varity in abilites changes depending on what you are doing and as you level I feel give you much more varity than in the other games you mentioned which I have played as well.
Yes. I played a Bounty Hunter to 50, a Marauder to about 28, a gunslinger to 38 and a consular to 38. Was completely bored on every character after my first 50. The ONLY thing that kept me going to the levels I hit was my guild and the class quests. I think EA marketing has identified this site as one of the main channels for its viral marketing of the game - and have helped suborn some of the MMORPG staff by frequent invitations to SWTOR 'events' - like the one a few of them are at right now. God knows what others 'gift' and 'promotional' items they have received.
Pokket.... you gotta stop saying "Basically" and "Actually" so much in your reviews. They are just fluff words that don't add any substance and if over used they start to be annoying. (Example: Teenage girls saying "like" all the time)
And I would also say stop trying to talk like a news reporter in your videos; just talk to us like we are a close friend, but I think that would be too drastic of a change for you to handle or accept. Who knows maybe you're trying to get yourself a job on G4 or something. But then again.... none of the people on G4 talk like cliche' news reporters so..... maybe you're shooting for the local news station? idk

The discussion about this actually depresses me. Have none of you considered, that WoW has had 10+ years to add so many generic and boring side quest zones that you can choose to level in. Yet WoW still lacks replayability without grind, and still uses the same basic combat system. I feel no sense of grind when leveling in swtor, its almost like playing mass effect. Then when I hit max my MMO switch turned on and I got into the endgame progression.

I'm sorry that my opinions and criticism "piss" you off. You're talking to me like I don't respect what vlogger/youtubers do. But I do. Infact Remotay http://www.youtube.com/user/remotay/ is my most favorite video game reviewer. I have never said anything negative about his reviews and have even stuck up for him on occasion in the comments section of his videos. RipperX is also a good reviewer, but I wish he didn't use a voice changer to deepen his voice, it makes him sound wierd.
I am a fan of Pokket's facebook page. That links to my IRL profile. If I thought Pokket sucked I would not associate my IRL name with her on my facebook page. I have listened to a few of her streams on occasion, and guess what? She doesn't talk to her guildmates/friends the way she talks in her Game Face videos. All I was suggesting is she speak more like her true self and less like a preconceived broadcaster.
But anyways, if this isn't a good enough excuse for you to chill your buns then I don't care. You're post is making you sound like a red-faced self-righteous Bill O'reilly.

Not sure about all the stuff, just basics at this point. Hopefully were getting more content than flash-points, half my guild does not even show up for 8 man raids. Much less flash-points now days. One thing that is causing player drop off is the lack of content.
We did not even go into the points of half the 8 man raids being buggy, like EV it has so many buggs its not funny.
I like the game I do, but there is not many folks playing it, most have went back to what they were doing before.

I think the game is decent. I found it a good short term investment but not anything I wanted to stay with for the long haul. Man, you really enjoy the PvP in this game? Far as PvP goes there simply doesn't seem to be much there to me. I mean the war zones are fun but outside of those...meh...
