    Very nice indeed. This could even give Roma Victor's state of the art, total immersion graphics engine a run for its money!

    LOL about Roma Victor's graphics. But let's hope that POTBS is not the inverse of what we think RV will be, a very in-depth and imaginative game with bad graphics.

    About these screenshots, the one with the cannonballs flying at the ship has amazing-looking water! And the port at night, with the Milky Way in the sky, took my breath away just like the real thing when I get the rare opportunity to see it away from city lights!

    Very nice water shots.  I wonder if they look this good in real-time or if this is just a staged shot.  I'd be very impressed if this is real time during game play.

    Looks similar to Silent Hunter III's water tech, which shows it's very possible to render realistic water in real time.
