So this is for preorder and beta people. A thread that lists things we would like tested so they are bug free and or we as a community have been worried about. Obviously Beta testers cant and shouldn't give feedback here ,but is to encourage testers to try something (class,race etc) they normally wouldn't so that ANET gets feedback from us as a community.
For example. I have been very interested in ranger traps (gonna try a Control Ranger) So I am hoping some Beta testers out there will test ranger traps, Traits/are they hidden from enemies?/do they stack?/ Trigger rate etc. With all the beta footage out there I have seen very few traps on utility skill bars.
Once again I am saying I don't expect feedback here on this site or thread. Just trying to give ways for non-testers to give ideas of things to test for beta testers because we interested or concerned.

Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
Not to be rude but it's a pointless thread IMO,considering you can't even say you are in beta.This thread just encourages people who might not have read the NDA properly in their excitement of getting into beta to actually break the NDA unknowingly.

It might just be me, but I would like to know of any invisible walls. Well, more so I would like them reported to be fixed. It always bothers me invisible boundary walls in 3D MMO's. Aion had quite a few that could have easily been replaced by a fence.
I feel this could highly affect it's success, immersion-wise.

NDA is lifted on the 26th I believe, so they could post all they want after that date of NDA lifted is reached.
Amongst other things that I have seen wanting to be tested.
-Check for AI on pets to see if it has been indeed fixed.
-Gathering, can more than 1 person hit the same node - makes sense they would do this as loot is per player as well rather than a fight for it. If not please send feedback to developers.
-Can you grief other players with a mob train from another event or random mobs to another dynamic event - ruining their chances of success? Don't know how they may do this unless the random mobs only attack whoever initiated it and don't switch targets by closest unless they are involved to.
-Stress test the heck out of the server limits for WvWvW. If it is as bad as I think it is going to be, queues are going to be extra long come release.
-Typical testing such as transmutation of many items, one on another to see if it works. Double clicking gathering nodes to see if it sparks multiple resource gathering - the simple mundane stuff that needs to be checked.
Don't like NDA, ArcheAge didn't have one it was the best. NDA is dodgey.
After playing EQ, I automatically turn these off.
They typically look nice for a couple of folks, and it looks like a madhouse when more than a few are fighting.
Will be interesting to see how A-Net handles this stuff for WvWvW.

As long as the game drops the NDA a good month or so before launch, then I dont have an issue with it. It gives time for known issues to circulate.
It is the games that ride them up to the week prior to launch that are dodgy.

I would operate on the assumption that the NDA is only lifted for press on the 26th until confirmed otherwise, just to be safe. That's how it was with the last press beta.
Yup it's not a true open world and it's not seameless but it's nothing like GW,it's more akin to AOC/EQ2.

Test out how the events scale when people join and how it affects the scale if someone leaves the area of event.
Check how long is the pause between 2 events which are chained.
Do particle checks in really crowded fights.
Try checking the maps boundry and see if it can be breached (something like in WOW). In other words, exploit the map. If you succeed report it..
Check the scaling of your own character in low zones, see how that works...
Check traps on other classes and see how they work when you're against that class... (if it can be seen or recognized by any way)
Test WvWvW system and see how it handles big battles.

please if possible check if the warrior is effective in PVP
I want to roll a Warrior but dont want it to be lame in PVP
PVE too plz =P also would LOVE to know the new traits for rangers since one tree had none and others were iffy.
I remember one of the devs sayin on reddedit that warriors with hammer are a CC nightmare in PVP
