RedBedlam is a small, new startup company with the an ultra-ambitious agenda of creating a historical MMORPG during the Roman Era.
If you are new to the video gaming industry, just let me say, delays are inevitable and should be expected. I know it can be frustrating when you don't get what you want when you want, or even when they said you would get it, but don't let that get to you.
Good things come to those who wait, I am still as excited for this beta as ever as I understand the inevitable delays. 
Please give them, and us, a break from the impatient rants.

It's insulting and derogatory, not to mention obviously inflamitory, to head your post as you have.
No-one doubts the validity of the points you make in regard to delays and the need for patience. But addressing your post to contest whiners relegates your post pretty much to irrelevant status.
Whilst I have no compunction to address a thread to all Fanboi AzzKissers, extolling the virtues of communication and the need to respect your potential playerbase, I'm sure the point will be taken
Well I think I understand what Anarchyart is doing, cause I was reading posts....ppl whining about how they haven't been allowed to join the beta. I've been reading a lot of the same posts.....and they say how bad the dev team is progressing...taking their time and all stuff which is probably not true but they see it that way because they are not getting what they want.
Anarchyart's Topic Title is addressing those specific ppl...and telling them to shutup and wait. He's not really flaming.
Well, they DO have a good reason to complain. Just telling them to wait when it'll be at least a month after winning the contest before they get into beta just gives them more reason to complain, and is more likely to start an agrument than stop the ranting. Patience is a virtue, but some people have already been stretched to their limits...I'm not complaining because while I was waiting, I went off and started playing other games that I otherwise wouldn't pay much attention to, so I had something to do.
All I would ask is that they control their ranting, which they obviously have, since its only being ranted about in one topic...at least before this thread was started. While you ask them to control themselves, try to control yourself as you respond to them ;P
No one is forcing you to read them. You are wasting space with this thread. If someone is calling Redbedlam liars and cheaters then they are too far into a hole of pure retardedness; this thread is quite pointless and will change no one.
Yeah well I dont agree that they have a reason to complain about why they have not joined the beta yet. I mean its not as if RedBedlam has closed all ears to theit community like DnL does.....I am just saying wait!....I can think of one reason why they haven't permitted you lucky guys to join the beta:-
The game is not in that stage yet! Wait till its ready! I mean you guys are really there to beta test the game and not play a demo! You need to learn to accept that.
Its understandable that you are excited but a beta is a beta...and its not ready for the stage of permitting you guys to join. Probably they encountered a few road blocks and if you give them the time they need they can get the game done properly.

With a launch date still estimated at end of September, we are going to receive a token appearance in Beta before the game launches. I, unfortunately, have given up on hoping to have any kind of input on the development of this title prior to launch. I still look forward to seeing it when it goes live, but it appears my first opportunity to beta test will have to wait.... such is life.

I thought the title was hilarious. Sorry if you found it insulting, just trying to inject a bit of humor and at the same time calm people down and hopefully make them laugh at themselves a little.
And no, I don't think anyone has the right to be pissed off. You won a spot in a beta that isn't ready yet. Get over yourself.
I can't count how many companies postponed their release date only 2 weeks before their initial estimated release date. All i have to say here is wait before you judge. I went on the general forums of RB today to discover a post made last december by KFR, saying that the game is nearly completed and commercial test would begin "shortly". The commercial test started in May, 5 months after KFR's post, and KAnoth said not too long ago in a post made on MMORPG.COM, that a new major patch was coming out. I don't want to be pessimist towards RB, but i'm pretty sure they'll have to postpone the launch to a later date if they want a proper testing on that new major patch. If not, then it'll seem they are just like any other company trying to rush the game out and leaving a whole lot of bugs wich would not be wise for a small startup company.
I don't think you are right there.......many many succesful games are released incomplete! The patches which come after totally complete them....Best example I can come up with....Battlefield 2!
Besides Roma Victor is an ambitious game trying to fit a lot of features never done or used before....they need to make sure no lag whether server or fps is encountered within it. They need to do a lot. And what causes these delays is when they run into a road block.
Seeing as they are delaying your participation to beta test the game....the reason being everything has been delayed a little and I am sure we can say the same thing for release as well!...I have faith in these guys and in order to make their flagship a success they need to have a successful release! I am sure they understand that!
Surely anyone can see that the likleyhood of this game releasing next month are about the same as being struck by lightning at the same time as reading your winning lottery ticket as you trip over a fourleaf clover, attached to a gold nugget the size of your head.... during a blue moon..... while pigs fly past....
The last stated release date on MMORPG.com was like June sometime.. it was very clear to anyone following the official site there was no way that was going to happen. It should be equally clear to anyone following the official site now that a September release is about 0.00000001 of 1% more likely than June was.
So drawing the conclusion that a reasonable Beta period will not be somehow fitted into the development cycle is pretty premature really.
This dev team has established a reputation for 2 things mainly. One is communicating openly and honestly with the community and Two is not rushing anything.
Personally I think they are both qualities to be encouraged in MMO Devs and are alltogether too rare in the industry.
