‘The Seagulls’ is an established guild based in the Oceanic region (EDST/GMT +10). We are currently seeking to build our player base for the release of Guild Wars 2 later this year. All new members will have the opportunity to have an influence on the future direction of the guild. We don’t take ourselves too seriously and our focus will be on ‘fun’ and supporting our members by keeping them informed of GW2 news/updates and giving them the platform to be ‘anything they want to be’.
Our focus will be on all elements of PvE & PvP (WvW). We are an open guild that encourages all members to play their own way and enjoy themselves.
We would like to build a diverse community of players from all backgrounds and interests. Minimum age for membership will be 16 years+. Players outside of the Oceanic region are encouraged to apply but please consider time zones as a majority of guild activity will be in the evening (Aust/NZ time).

Just a tip, i think you should change the name... no offence. it's just, seagulls are fucking annoying in real life, giving people a general negative vibe.
Try Sea eagles, or something if you like birds.

The business model looks sound. A-Net are determined not to allow players to p2w. Cash shops should be cosmetic only.

Seagulls? Really guys? Im sorry. Im sure your guild will be great but the laughter you see above is going to haunt you in game. Oh you got it from me first as a prophecy of things to come. But seagulls? The Seagulls? *facedesk*
Thats a damn curse. Im telling you. For heavens sake. You'll never be epic with that name. Ever. Even if you were the top guild in the game you'd be laughed at insanely. I mean to hurt no feelings. " Mud Sharks", " Storm Crows", " Sea Dogs ", " Birds of Prey ".
Anything but that. And those are just off the top of my head. Help yourselves before its too late friends! Before its too late!
We've had virtually no negative feedback on our guild name.
We go in our own direction, not blindly following mmo guild naming trends.
It's not about being 'epic'....never has been for us. It's about creating our own community and supporting our members.
Unless you are on an RP server, guild names should hold no true importance to how you view a guild.
We'll be doing our own thing, the "Super Sabre Monkeys" or "Death Dragon Lords" can also do their own thing without criticism.
It's a petty thing to judge a name because it doesnt sound l33t...

The 2 biggest and baddest PvP guilds on my SWTOR server are called My little Ponys and Raindbow Glitter Unicorns. Whats worse then getting pwned in PvP then getting pwned in PvP by funny guildnames. Just saying.

Oh and the shape of the bird is that of an eagle I believe.
