Thanks I think I'm going to check that out again. I think that if a compain could succesfully pull of what I sudjested I think it would be a big succes because there realy isn't much of anything like it.
The concept of a straight MMORTS is flawed in my opinion. There has to be a hybrid of RPG and RTS elements to make it work and actually keep people playing. You're better off playing regular multiplayer RTS games like Age of Empires and Warcraft.
However, if you insist on MMORTS's I'll add another, Boundless Plant. It's very early in development.
flawed? Nothing fits the mmo concept better than an rts imo. RPGs aren't as good, because the combat is already boring, and online it's even worse (simplified so that lag can't screw you i guess). In addition, RPGs rely on a story, and you can't really have a story play out in a persistent world. So most MMORPGs are really just an RPG online - nothing different. You can interact, sure, but you just play the story out by yourself or with a party, it doesn't unfold for the whole world at once (which is what a real MMORPG would be), unless it's one of the games with a story arc, which has no user interaction, so that kinda sucks too.
The whole idea of an RTS however is to take land, beat up the enemy. The territory conquering would be stressed in a good MMORTS, with you trying to build a large, enduring empire, one that will hold up while you're offline, one that covers hundreds of miles and is feared by all around.
A pure MMORTS would be great.

Graphics are lacking, but Ive played it and its a fairly decent game once you get into and have pasted the learning curve.
There also seems to be another "Time of Defiance" but run by different people
