-Well it's rather a couple of hundred on us primetime, other times it can be empty.
-- Huge game world measuring more than 350,000 square miles
But only some few square kilometers can be used due to the handcloves all the players get when start playing. You may not play where you tink would be most fun.

With this system i have "advanced" from brigadier general to leutenant! Work hard and maby you can become a potatopeeler.

// Just thought i would let you know that you can play wherever you want.  It's called changing brigades.  Look where the briagade is fighting,  and then you can play there.  Also, if you are a leutenant, as per the thing underneath, you should be able to post your own missions.

//Also, i would just like to inform you that that "Decrease in rank" occurded so as to have more realistic numbers in ranking.  It's quite apparent that you did not pay ANY ATTENTION WHATSOEVER to any of the Rats primers, or attend any of the many teamspeak sessions in which the rats talked about future changes to the games.  All the work you did to get the Brig General is the exact same amount of work it will take a new player to get to leutenant.  I forgot the exact numbers, but if before, brig general was say Rank 9.  Leutenant is still Rank 9, because they added more total ranks.  If you want to become a colonol or higher than join the GHC, which they can't turn you down.  It was unrealistic before to have 50% of the playerbase be colonols or higher.

I'm under the impression that you have played this for some time hazmats. If i'm correct i only have to say i loved 1.15 then you know exactly why 1.19 isn't all that impressive. In compaireson 1.19 meens no freedom for the players other then maby HC players!

Few tips for anyone thinking of trying the game....

It's a very tough environment to survive in when you first start. As it tries to simulate reality you can be killed instantly at pretty much any time and often you'll have no idea what got you. It takes a little while to get the hang of things so don't be discouraged if you get killed (alot) when you first start. Ask questions, people are usually very hjelpful.

This is a game that relies predominantly on the real life player's skill so, like anything, if you stick with it the more experience you get playing the game the better your gaming experience will be.

    Good luck

SirEvil, name 1 game that was released under the MMORPG banner that was a perfectly working system that didn't get tweaked.

I'll agree 1.18 was a good patch, but nothing really changed from 1.19 apart from it was made easier for large numbers of players to find action. That was the biggest complaint of new players, that missions where posted everywhere but no one was on them.

Missions are now highly visible, what they need to do is throw more developers at the game and improve the comms, whether that is VoIP or whether that is just improving the mission decision screen, who knows, but those features will appear.

If you want a completed game, a game that never evolves except to fix 'major' bugs, then go grab a copy of BF:2, the only changes that ever go to those types of games are player made mods.

    Life can be tapped

What my feelings are on 1.18 you can see on my banner :) For me it was the patch when the game lost very much appeal.

    But the truth is this:

Even if i really dislike the turns this game has taken, WWIIOL has no contenders among all other "warsim" game's! BF2 is good in it's own way but to compair it to WWIIOL doesn't work, theirs such such major difference.
