Whats with the lack of Hack and Slash online rpgs?

Diablo 2 was extremely successful, torchlight was successful with a online sequel coming out. Diablo 3 will be extremely successful, but why such a shortage of these games? we have all these MOBAs, yet no good hack and slash online rpgs.  Its a great genre, has a social setting like a mmorpg, boss downing, adventure crawling etc.

Even the ps2 ones did extremely good, baldurs gate/champions of norrath.

 

What gives?

    I did and thats what I mean it was really good but hack and slash rpgs are like a needle in a hay stack. Though titan quest did not have a strong online protection.

    I agree, need more good hack and slash online games.
