    Hi,

Upto lvl 10 your hooked...running around marveling at the scenes.

Lvl 10 to 20 your start to scratch your head and wonder WTF.... is it me or
    the game.

Lvl 20 to 30 Your ignore list gets longer and longer as you avoid "kiddie" griefing
    remarks.

Lvl 30 to 40 er well its just a repeat from lvl 20-30......

Lvl 40 to 50 er well........... now kill 20 skeletons instead of 20 boars.

Lvl 50 to 60 nagging feelings in the back of your mind reminding you that you have
completed wasted a part of your life that you can get back again.

Lvl 60 run around showing of ya uber sword. Get told, "Gratz" to making it to lvl 60 but
both you and they know it was about as challenging as falling out of bed.

    Take care.

Second , community. Id agree with you about most servers probably having very immature communities. The worsed in any game I have played. However RP servers Ive played on seem to eb very good.

Third , hacks and dupes. I dont doubt that but its not as rampant as you make it out to be. Besides Ive seen hacks and dupes in both SWG and Lineage 2 a lot worse than this.

Fourth, server stability. Not every server is screwed up. In fact Ive enjpyed next to no hassle playing for over 6 months now. HIgh pop servers , yeah I bet so. Youve seem to gotten your facts real wrong here as well. Lineage 2 has never had and does not currently have more subscribers than WOW. As for Eve holding the record for most on 1 server, I have no idea. But im sure its not too bad to run a few servers compared to over 100.

Fifth, pvp .  Last time I checked getting gear would qualify as benefits. Of course your right though, more could be added to make it feel worth while.

Im not going to even get in a pissing contest with a obvious fanboi of the game.. Cause to put it simple its useless.

Ill just direct this to the OP and add that I have provided links to add more credibitity to what I claim is wrong with this game..Others just spout off what they think..

WOW has hacks galore, some in particular *cough* spee*** are still functioning to this day.. Is it Diablo2 bad, hell no no game could ever get that bad (well I hope not).. I would back this up by providing links to several of the hacks that I know about personally.. But last time I did that one of the mods here deleted my post..

As for server stablity lol I laugh at this Med pop servers Small pop servers and HIgh pop servers are have people complaining about lag... Agian all I have to do is direct you to the NUMEROUS post on the General forums about people complaining about something that is wrong with there server...

PVP agian I am forced to chuckle at this, PVP with a purpuse are games like DAOC, AO, EVE, SB, L2, hell even the Carebear game COH is comming out with more purpose to PVP (COV) then WOW.. Is this to say WOW will not have an expantion which will give us something to actually gain or loose in PVP.. Who knows, since this game has been out for 9 months and they have yet to give us anything concrete about there expansion plans.... BTW name another MMORPG that was about this long and didnt even have something for you to read up on about there upcomming expansion.. I can think of none, except WOW...Nobodys asking for an expansion yet, but at the same time not even letting us know whats they plan on having is very puzzling and sad.

And ganking is a huge problem in WOW, but usually the people that dont think it is are the ones that have 60's all ready and didnt have to worry about lvling post "HONOR SYSTEM PATCH"...It took me 1 1/2 months to get my sham to 60 while lvling my hunter to 45... Its will take me double this time now, since every time I try to quest (Anywhere) its usually interrupted by high lvls comming by and doing there thing...

How can it be a pissing match when I agreed with over half of what you said? How can I be a fanboi when I agreed with half the negative comments about the game just not the extent you said of it.

Did you even read the post?

WoW is fun until the end game. Your spending like 5 hours to get a 1% chance to get an item, and even if you find it, you only have at least a 20% chance of receiving that item (5 group members, all potential takers)

Wait till the first expansion comes out to give it a try. They'll be adding Hero classes which will hopefully be a long ass grind with amazing powers...kinda like SWG's Jedi system. I expect this to be Spring/Summer 2006

They also need to add a siege game where you can actually buy like catapults or giants and take over towns. The reward would be 100gold to each member who participated, and the loss to the town would be like inflation for all expenses (flight paths, items, etc), to help with repairs (a 1 week period which the town was invulnerable). Ohh hell I need to finish school so I can implement these damn things and take credit!

    You just got off mmorpgs?

    Stop mmorpgs.

Go play bf2 for maybe a month. maybe a wow trial will come out. if not buy the game and enjoy.

I find that i can never go from an mmorpg to an mmorpg succesfully, espcially if im resubcribing to said mmorpg

Sigh I am not sure what server the mate plays on who said this but it is entirely false on mine -Blackhand. Yes we still have Queues for hours. Yes we have to wait for instances before it will let us in. We keep bouncing back until a spot clears on their servers.  And here is the very sad part, you can try and suck it up and move to other areas but they are all filled. Yes all filled. We have over seas farmer at every location of 52+. The sad part is when you are at level 52 you goto a zone with level 52-55 mobs and try to play and the NE 60 rogue over sea farmer does not like you in his zones. He plays multiple zones runing from spot to spot mowing down every mob he sees. He see you in his zones, he flags himself. Then stands over your mobs when you try to loot, then frags you when you try to get your loot. You petition the GMs 3 days straight. Finally get an actual GM to talk to on day 3.5. They claim corrective action will be taken , then the very next day the lvl 60 NE Rogue is back at it with his or her's same actions.

WOW is a fun game to play.  The graphics are unbelievable!

Be prepared for much frustration and anger directed toward Blizzrd however. There are constantly server problems and down times. They do apologize in advance though, so that should make you feel marvelous when you find a minute to play and can't. On Tuesdays they close all the servers for several hours for weekly maintenance.  Lag makes the game un playable at times. image

Thats the same defense the other people have that complain of getting ganked. You know exactly what hes going to do but your too hard headed to move on to the next mob. Report and move on.

The point is, the crappy community shouldn't be such that you HAVE to move on, you should be able to do what you were doing. Juvenile behavior shouldn't be ruining the game experience and definitely shouldn't make a situation where anyone should "suck(ing) up pride and mov(ing) on."

Its called pvp. If you want to be able to do whatever , whenever thats what pve servers are for. Like I said Blizz has made it very convienent. Even on a pvp server----you can move on. IN alot of games you would be at the mercy of the person camping you.

The thing that's great about WoW is that it is for anybody. If you want to play 24/7 then you can do that and have fun, but if your casual about it then you can still have a great deal of fun. It is very easy to get into also. Plus it has over three million players in it.
