I love PvP...

but I hate paying to play games per month.

It's like all the really good PvP games require monthly payments(IMO), but I just don't want to pay.

In your opinion, what game has thy best PvP feature(and of course PvE) that you can just play all day. I'm thinking of RoM because of how similiar it is to WoW(yes I loved WoWs PvP).

None. All the F2P's need you to use the cash shop to be competitive, you'd be better off with Guild Wars or waiting for Guild Wars 2 which are both box price only and no sub.

You say you don't want to pay you will have to with any game whether you like it or not. Either box price, subscription or spending a fortune in cash shops so as not to be gimp.

I should have explained better. I don't mind paying for cash shops, but I just don't like paying per month, or having to actually buy the game.

    I'm all for cash shops.

AION is going F2P on April 11th. As soon as it goes F2P its going to be sick and shit. I like it for its PVP and they aren't holding back in terms of not giving you the full ride because its going F2P. They aren't holding anything back and the cash shops are just going to be for superficial things like pets and crap like that.

I also don't want to pay to play and that's why I ended up quitting SWTOR for now until they add some real pvp elements. Until then I'll also be purchasing GW2 because it will have some great PVP aspects as well. Good luck, I suggest you try AION, might seem a little to anime for some but some of the mechanics are pretty awesome. PVP'ing as a templar is pretty fun, grapling people and slamming them down is super awesome not going to lie. Good luck good sir.

Eh?  Almost none of the best PVP games require monthly payments.  Fighting games, RTSes, FPSes.  Some of the best ones (LoL, Tribes, and TF2) are even free to start playing and can be played free forever (and their lack of forced payments is why I've spent more in all three of those games than on most MMORPGs.)

I play LoL, or have been for about 2 years now(a LOT of cash spent on skins/stuff). I'm trying out RoM, so far everything seems cool, and I love the in game voice chat as well.

I'm thinking of trying Aion when it goes F2P, but will the F2P players be handicapped per se? Like, will certain places be blocked from F2P players? Or will it just go completely F2P with a cash shop?
