Will this game be dead in Europe?

I'm from EU(SCotland) And I can't decide if I should buy the US version of the game or the EU..

I can't imagine too many people in EU playing this.

Its been plenty busy on the EU Beta servers, and there seems to be an ok sized community for EU aswell, however US community does seem bigger, but latency is too important in this game for me to pick US.

There's a sizable amount of EU people who'd rather play on the US servers.

I tried both myself - EU feels ever so slightly more responsive, but US has far better support. I don't want to compare communities at this point.

Still, has to be said that the very few run-ins i had with Frogster support weren't all that great, compared to the incredibly quick response times from the EME staff with exactly the answers i wanted to hear.

That, and it's cheaper to play in the US - $15 vs 15 Euro ;)

Lol.. Alot of ppl is gonna play this game in EU.. :P

Who cares if there is 10 full servers or just 1 full server.. Just be on the 1 full server.. ;)

If ur goin range, Latency can be a problem, so to clarify it.. Play EU if ur in EU!

And if the servers are goin dead quick, then just hope you can transfer your char to NA.

    I pay cheaper. $12 a month for a 3 month subscription renewal. =)

I dont think the servers will be empty. But things are changing, most people avoid games where you are forced to group/raid for gear grinding. Tera looks cool but it is like most games, you can reach level cap solo but then it is game over if you dont like the group/ raid gear grinding.

This will change soon, games will be different, you will be doing fun things when you cap level, maybe Tera andTSW will be the last games using this mecanism.I cant imagine devs realy want 80% of playerbase to cancel when they reach level cap.

The biggest negative is ,EU has to deal with Frogster..

I played both, EU and US betas. I also played K-tera.

K-tera from EU (i'm currently living in spain, and I do have fiber connection) has latency issues, that is a fact :)

I had no issues with EU or US in terms of latency, and I tried melees, ranged and support.

I had server issues in EU being unable to cope with players load, channels not adjusting dynamically according to population, and people from same party being forced to different channels every time they zoned.

This in US didn't happen to me, not even once.

My play times are more us-friendly than eu-friendly, where everyone logs at 23.00 (while I play late night) - so it's US for me and for my buddies who have similar lifestyle and similarly good & reliable connection.

Hope this will help others make an informed choice - whatever it might be.

If I had the option, I'd rather deal with EME as they seem to be handling things pretty well so far. Frogster, on the other hand, is terrible IME.
