I like the fact that it looks more like it's something the toon is wearing instead of being painted on, human males in TERA are the only armor designs I like.

Ok buddy, now you are trolling. I just saw your other negative comment in the news area. If all you want to do is visit every Tera thread and make a negative comment go outside and bother someone else.
If you hate the game that's great, more power to you. But it speaks a bit to your character that you feel the need to go into Tera threads and just say negative things without anything else for discussion.

There is a new tutorial area and of course the island. I almost wonder if they took the tutiorial stuff out of the island to make it faster, move better.
Having said that, see if you can get a character into your 20's. The world seems to open up more around that time. I know that sucks and it should't be, but that's the way this game works.

1. Your UI is totally customizable (placement, size, etc.) even separate parts of the UI.
2. When you get to the "strip mall" look for the last vendor on the right. This guy sells crystals (called "Rhomes", blue for armor, red for weapon). I would suggest picking up the "Fleetfoot" blue one as it increases run speed when out of combat.
3. You don't have to pick up every quest. The red ones (storyline quests) are pretty much required but the yellows (normal quests) are for those who like questing. Of course if you like just questing you'll love the yellow ones because there are too many quests honestly. If you like hunting a bit consider "red only" and enjoy the combat system.
4. Know ahead of time it's pretty linear up until 20ish. That's when your first dungeon opens up and, depending on your exact level, you have more travelling options available. a flaw many agree with is that the game doesn't really open up until 20+. Leveling to 20 is pretty quick though.

i played the beta and it felt like i was playing liniage 2....ill buy it when t comes out but i dont have a good feeling about this game....
I wish it felt a bit more like Lineage2. But that is to be expected, this past decade has really changed all MMOs.

well having played most of the mmorpgs guess most of them are similar the usual boring quest, grinds (dungeons, crafting etc..)
just needed something to hold my attention for a couple of months and Tera it is lol.

I played the most recent beta weekend, wasn't my cup of tea.
yeh i play cbt 4 and its not that bad to behonest i prefer playing this than aion miself ..but the game will not shine

I think this game will find an audience and do well, but it's not my kind of game.
