Hey guys, a friend of mine wants a computer built and I'm trying to help him out. I got help here 4-5 months ago from Quiz and built a PC and it turned out great. His budget is 1100 MAX, but wants to spend 1000, excluding peripherals.
I put together some stuff and was hoping for some feedback.

After mail in rebates/ tax that comes out to about 1130, which is a problem. The harddrive is also on backorder and the stores here don't have it in stock. Here's the deal. It'd be easier if we could go into Canada computers and buy it, but if he could get a good setup built from newegg/any other site and have the price come out lower than what it is on CC, he'll probably go for it.
Any feedback is aprecciated!

Do you need the in store purchase or online store options, or does either work for you?
Both options work for me! I'm in Toronto btw.
It's easy to save some money on the heatsink and memory:

Not quite as good, but the difference basically doesn't matter.
For a power supply and video card, do you like big rebates?

That's probably a better power supply than you linked, and the video card will give equivalent performance.
I haven't asked my friend yet, I'm assuming mail in rebates wouldn't be preferred though. Sorry I wasn't to specific in my first post, but the products would have to be in stock in Mississauga. My friend would also be ok with ordering from newegg.
Back when I got help with my build you were the one that suggested all the parts (thanks btw!) and I bought them all from Canadacomputers. You originally linked them from newegg, and it was about 100 dollars cheaper but I bought them from CC because I was impatient.
