Can you recommend another MMO to try?

Hi,

Just wondering what can fill the void in my gaming life and if you could recommend a game?

WoW - loved it until Cata, hated the changes to my toons, so quit.

Rift - fantastic, loved it more than WoW, stoped playing when SWTOR was released.

SWTOR - Hate it more than words can describe. Miss the open levelling of WoW/Rift. Waste of money in my opinion.

Aion and LOTRO are OK, seem to lack something. I don't feel compelled to continue.

 

I've been keeping an eye out and there is lots of hype for GW2 and games like Tera, wondering what are like minded people planning to play next?

    Im kind of the same, waiting for GW2 and TERA. But while I wait ive been trying out every new game being released, some are actually pretty good.

    Try some different MMO like Wizard 101, Wakfu or EVE.

    Vanguard is getting ready to go f2p, I think it is a very nice game, from when I played before.

     

    Coming out stuff:

    TSW, GW2 are what I am keeping an eye on in the near future...Maybe Planetside 2, never played 1, but may try this with some friends.

     

    long way down the line:

    ArcheAge, World of Darkness, Copernicus, EQNext, Pathfinder, lots more, but thats too far to even really worry about.

    is EqNext still in the works?  I haven't heard anything about that one in a long time.

    Not as a AAA MMORPG no.  Maybe as a social game.

    you answered your own question. Rift... you said you loved Rift and only quit due to swtor launching.. then why not go back to it?

    Aion is free to play now also

     

    all of these are free to play and i enjoy all of them.  Aion and forsaken world are actually two of my all time favorite games
