My cure to the wow haters

I realize the part about wow that makes people hate it most is the fact that its relitively easy right?
For all of you who think wow is too easy and need a feeling of great loss at the risk of gaining miniscule advancment; here's what you do.
Every time you see some one in wow; role a die. I its 1-3 keep playing as usual.
If its 3-6 take a brick. In fact, take 2 bricks.
Then in a flowing motion proceed to bash your self in a tender area of your body until the need to pvp or complain about a game that you obviously dont play any more....is gone...and replaced by sheer anguish and appreciation for said body part.
STOP COMPLAING ABOUT A GAME YOUR NOT PLAYING. Its not constuctive...some times its funny but usally not.
If you want to have a DISCUSSION about it fine. "Wow is worse than etc" Fine IM OK WITH THAT.
But insulting people because they like something other than you is just asnine.
You may like to put jam in your hair and beat your self to death with peanuts. Im not judging....Not what i would do, BUT im not judging.
And to all of you who are now going to express yourself anyway.....good...... we live in america and you can.....
but just be cause you can.........

All MMOs are raid-trash infested games and you want me to remain quiet?
Why do you come complain on a board rather then play your game if you like it so much? It is because you want:
1- To find a better game.
2- To find hints and spoilers about the game.
3- You want the game to improve.
And so on...nobody come here to bash for the fun of bashing. Lame folks that bash for the fun of bashing would pick the easiest target, not games run by corporations.
WoW is a raid infested nest like all the others MMOs, if it come more often as a subject, it is simply because peoples in general bring it more often...so it is in the most recent posts, where I see it. You want me to stop complaining about WoW lame must raid setting, simple, praise individual aspects that are not affected by raiding, like the level 1-45 and remain consistent, I will not bother to join the discussion...tell me how as a level 45+ you are happy in the game and I will tell you that a game that enforce raiding on non-raiders is lame and deserve the trashcan.

My arguement is the fact that no one wants to hear their game get bashed.
I also do not understand the "OH i played the game for 2 years maxed out and got bored IT SUCKED, IT DIDNT LAST ME TILL RAPTURE!"

So...your are saying...
Peoples come on neutral ground, FAR away from where their so beloved staff has any hold...
And they expect everyone to cheer at their favorite game?
You realise this site although dedicated to MMORPGs in general is not even run by peoples who are currently making a MMORPG, which mean you cant hope to get a "sympathy" edge the game is not deserving, out of solidarity.
In facts, we are fans...and we all want the BEST game. Some peoples are irrationnal like the example you give. Some like me focus on what they hate in the game and repeat it endlessly.
If I say a thousand more times that raiding lack, maybe some devs will understand some folks cant bear a must raiding setting and make a nice game, just an idea.
And personnally, when I talk about WoW, it is always because someone else bring WoW on the floor...sure, I can bash the overgrown EQ tutorial, bring it more, I will pinpoint the reasons why I dont play it.

On a serious note: It's more common for a WoW fanboi to post how much better WoW is then the game in question (often happens on the forums for a specific game), then for a WoW hater to start the bitchin.

I'm gonna play both ends against the middle on this one. First off, most posters put there WoW bashing right in the title of the thread. If you don't like WoW bashing, don't read that thread. Given, they don't have to play WoW. Most of those bashing WoW aren't playing it.
Through the flipside though, WoW bashes are getting to be just as annoying as threads wanting to know about any good free games. You don't like WoW. We get it already!!! Let it die.
And finally, alot of people like WoW. You don't have to like WoW just because 1.5 million people do. You also don't have to bash something just because it's popular. Yeah, it makes you feel better but it really doesn't accomplish more than that. Different strokes for different folks. I have a thing for fat chicks. I don't run around bashing the half-starved living skeletons that everyone else seems to admire like royalty and I don't insult those that like bruises on their mid section from those knobby things that flank the hips of skinny women. I can never remember the name of that part of the pelvis....
In short, if you feel that the game is seriously broken, not supported, or believe that the community sucks, you have a legitimate post. If you just want to say "my game rulez and WoW droolz", you're an idiot and an asshole to boot.
