    i registered with a diffrent e-mail then my gw1 but i still got setup with my gw1 e-mail to log on

    Well I got it to work.  The e-mail they sent out about how to register was in german though...  I think they might have confused Australia with Austria somewhere.

    The confirmation e-mail for registering was in english though.

    Finally got that damned form to work, lol. Had to use Chrome to do it (talk about horrible coding).

    I decided on a digital pre-purchase at Arenanet's site.

     At first, I tried using Opera browser; however, it wasn't compatible.  I quickly switched over to Firefox.  The order then went  smoothly.  In addition, you are able to register and link your guild wars account too.  After that, I log into my email and find my new GW2 CD key waiting for me.  There was a notice that the download link will be provided later in a future email for game client.

    Hope everyone else is able to order soon.  See you guys in the upcoming beta.

    If I get to 80 and have fun doing it, I still get more out my 55 Euros than most single player games and definitely more than just a few pandas.

    Hope you aren't holding your breath for that.

    Some of us have actually played the game you know =P. If it gets to the point where i'm 80 and bored? Well, it's not like I'm paying a sub for the game... I hear it's nice outside.

    I"m not a huge fanboy of GW or a buyer into the GW2 hype, however since the game has no sub and I can level at my own pace...I think its a worthy investment indeed...even if I don't like it at least I can come back whenever I want to to check out future patches without having to pay for a sub to do so!

    I was playing though guy but... pre purchased it...

     

    Oh well, as many already said, its gotta be REALLY bad for a non-subscription MMO that is not worthed the 60 bucks.

     

    I just hope they give us the download link soon,  my connection sucks and will take a good chunk to get the whole game, anyone know how many GBs is gonna be the download?

    On the GW2 twitter page there is a tweet to say that Zavvi customers will get a pre-purchase box with the codes required to activate your pre-purchase. I assume this will be soon. My order page says the stock is awaiting picking but the estimated dispatch date is 18th May. I hope it ain't.

    Hopefully it is all in order.

    I am worried about the same thing. The only beta event I will probably be able to make is this month and if I don't get my key then I guess I will just have to wait even longer. I 'trust' Zavvi, but I would have rather got it directly from Anet.

    Just buy the basic edition, there's nothing special in the deluxe one.

    Agreed. IMO there is nothing worthed at ALL the pre purchase of the deluxe version, the wolf companion is the only thing that has a shadow of an utility there but im sure is gonna be shitty DPS so...

    Odd. The site continutes to say (for me) that the purchase portion doesn't support IE8 (though the rest does). Switched to Firefox 4...and it went through.

    Anyone know what we are supposed to do with the digital keys we are emailed?

    Use the key to register the Guild Wars 2 Account.  If you already registered then just save it on file in case you ever need to reference it.

    I have another game pre-ordered that comes out in May, they told me the GW2 code would be sent out with that game :/

    I have a question:

    i've seen some info that guild wars 2 is to release 30th of June.

    Soo, if I buy guild wars 2 now. when will I be able to play the beta? Or can you play right away? It's kinda unclear to me.

    You get access to all future beta WEEKENDS as it clearly states under what you get for pre-purchasing. Which by all accounts the first one will be either the 2nd to last or last weekend in April.

    As to the june 30th release date. Dont count on it and dont believe any release dates untill Anet announces it.

    Oddly enough, I haven't played most of the games I've eventually bought.  That's why I buy them -- so I can play them.  Fail logic is fail.
