I'd hope they send it out earlier than that. Especiallys eeing as the first beta event is end of April.
I know it's only one weekend...but it's also a beta weekend.

Actually, I don't believe they can do that legally. Part of the pre-purchase program ensure that you have access to all future beta weekends. Receiving your code in May would make you miss the one in April. I can almost guarantee that part of their retail contract with ArenaNet stipulates that they need to provide the code immediately upon purchase.
I'd report them to ArenaNet right away if they delay sending you the code.

I didn't throw my money at Anet without even playing the game.The code is a physical one in a box, it's also your retail code for when the game goes live. It's not the normal pre-order code in your email and retail code at launch with this game.
I'll not be reporting them lol, the game won't be out till after the summer and there'll be plenty of beta weekends. I will however cancel it if it's <£40 on amazon.co.uk when they put it up later today and get it from them instead.
Well i'll be keeping an eye on the order status for a couple days if i hear/recieve nothing from them i will cancel and go with another company.
This is my first time using zavvi so we shall see if i use them again

Just notice on the zavvi status page the estimated dispatch date above, the woman on the phone might have had the wrong info when she said it would be sent out with my other pre-order in may. We'll see i guess.
I know the question is here somewhere but it's to early to search (no coffee yet) but once purchased and registered, where do you go to manage your account? There is nothing on NCsoft or GW2 site.

Pre-purchase Digtal Deluxe edition worked just fine for me.
Took a couple of seconds after submission/registration to get confirmation.
Even allowed me to link old GW1 account AND update/change the information to be current.

They've put the list price back up to 49.99 UKP. I saw it at 39.99 UKP ealier but decided to try Amazon.co.uk first. Amazon don't have it listed and a customer service rep told me he had no information on when it would be available but to check the site regularly. When I went back to dlgamer, the price had gone up lol. Finally settled for Play.com at 39.99 UKP but my previous pre-order experience with them hasn't been good. They tend to be late sending stuff out. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed with this one.
The fact that it's the same code that will be used when the game goes live is immaterial. The pre-purchase program gives you access to all beta weekends and that includes the upcoming one in April. They are obligated to get it to you before that.
If you aren't interested in beta, then it doesn't matter. If you are, then you should speak up. For all you know, the game could release in June and there are only two beta weekends left. You'll miss the one in April and you could miss the one in May, depending on how long it takes for the box to reach you and when the weekend is scheduled.
But hey, it's your call.

Also LOL at the GW2 ads on MMORPG.com already, but much better than "random asian MMO #3347" with odd anime wierdness

I purchased, registered, and went to that link you gave and there is no listing of GW2 in my account. I have my Aion and GW listed. I'm thinking I'm missing a serial code to enter but haven't recieved one.

if i am not wrong beta is managed by ArenaNet, therefore u cant register it in ncsoft, guess when it launches u would be able to do it.

In case anybody is having browswer issues, like me, I had to install google chrome. I had no problems pre-purchasing after that.
