Zhaitan - final boss dragon composed of other dragons!

If you read carefully what's written in picture sample from GW2 CE'sMaking of Gw2 book, you will notice some new info on the final boss - Zhaitan, specifically how is it designed. It will be composed of parts of many other massive dragons. Dragonception!

I think it's awesome! But how do you fight this thing? And how do YOU imagine it will look alike?

Server wide build up to a server wide dynamic event? Sort of like the Armies of Men and Elves versus Sauron kind of thing.
Make it chartable so the epeens may be stroked. "Did you see my BIG NUMBERs on there? Numbah one, y'all!"
My only gripe is not being able to see the names of my kills/killers in WvW.

you know, a server-wide build up would be AWESOME. i mean, AWESOME.
if that's the way they go, imagine what it'd take to trigger that kind of event. getting so many people involved to pull it off. i think it'd be interesting to make it something to strive for so you could see which servers had managed to pull it off, and how often.
really, that'd be awesome.

It really depends on just WHICH parts of other massive dragons its made from.
(Because an epic dragon made entirely out of other dragon's noses would be a titch silly)

might mean the expansion pack will have the new epic dragon, zhaitanette - bride of frankendragon.
i'm hoping the music played while you're killing it is "putting on the ritz."
I think it would be awesome if to summon the boss, the server would have to manipulate a large amount of dynamic events in such manner that the conditions for summoning it are met; specially if the clues for how to summon it are written down in the lore and were a bit different from server to server so that you couldn't just cheat through wiki. Would be awesome to see a whole server attempt to kill it for the pride of the server.

You meant it as a joke, but on a more serious note, I bet they'll release expansions focusing on the other elder dragons..

Basically what we know... Zaithan's minions are undead (including the big undead dragon we've seen as a boss fight on some videos), so I guess it would make sense if he was made of undead dragons fused together. In one of the novels there's a golem like that, made of bones (so that the leg was made of a lot of leg bones stuck together, for example). He's supposed to be the big end boss of GW2.
Jormag is the ice dragon, the norn fought him and managed to take off a tooth. Someone linked the picture of its size. They keep it there as a test for anyone that wants to challenge him, if they can't break the tooth, then they'd stand no chance against the dragon itself. His champion in the novel could transform into a blizzard, so maybe he can too.
Primordius was the first one to awake, his minions are the destroyers, made of living magma, so I guess he will be that way too. He's supposed to be underground at the time of GW2.
Kralkatorrik awakes in the Edge of Destiny novel, his minions are made of living crystals, so I guess he will be too. There's a concept art that shows a crystalline dragon, probably him or one of his champions. He can take the form of a huge sandstorm.

Everything creates huge amounts of negativity on the internet, that's what the internet is for: Negativity, porn and lolcats.
More than likely this will be a very rare event, which will require dozens if not hundreds of dynamic events to be 'completed' by the community.
At which point I imagine massive war effort to take place across various zones to 'destabalize' Zhaitan into a state where he can be pushed back or defeated.
Or some guy will just fire a laser beam at him from an airship.
Whichever works.

Zhaitan is just the first of the Elder Dragons that players will have to face in GW2. Zhaitan is basically blocking of Cantha. So no prizes for guessing where the first expansion will be.
Then there is Kralkatorrik who is living in the Crystal Desert and blocking off Elona.
Then there is Jormag who has blocked off the Northern Shiverpeaks.
And finally there is Primordus who will likely be the ultimate foe, who was encountered dormant underground by players in GW1 and is still underground causing havoc. Its minions are the destroyers from the original GW who are being held off underground by the dwarves.
After that, who knows?
One more Elder... the Deep Sea Dragon, affectionately called "Bubbles" until we get an actual name. Only thing we know is that it's somewhere at the bottom of the sea, and I think I recall champions that are Kraken-like, but fuzzy on that.
