Your Guild Wars 2 story

Lets create our own story about what our Character will be like in Guild Wars 2. Be sure to include his background, what he believes in, his ancestors... ect...blah blah blah
My name is Keation Shickabunis IV, I am a human warrior raised in divinitys reach and trained by Logan Thackery. My great grandfather is my true source for inspiration, he was born in Ascalon and was there when the searing happened in which the charr took over. He has seen it all, he fullfilled the flameseeker prophecies, destroying the evil Lich in the process. He single handedly defeated Shiro Tagachi the betrayer, saving Emporer Kisu, although one of his long time mentors Master Togo was murdered right before his very eyes. While the war against the Afflicted continued on in Cantha, my great grandfather traveled to Elona and joined the ranks of the sunspears, and save Elona from its biggest threat... the evil Varesh Ossa was plotting to bring back the damned 6th god Abaddon. He was successful and after defeating the dark god he watched as his fellow friend Kormir ascended into a god. Although he had completed so much and his legend was growing, there was one last task to complete. An ancient evil from bellow was rising, he had to combine forces with the Norn, Asura, Dwarves, Charr, and Humans to battle the great destroyer... a battle that ended with the destroyer being destroyed. He would eventually die of an illness in the year 1100 AE.
My Grandfather Keation Shickabunis II was nothing less than what his father was... a true hero. Born into a family of wealth and power, he used it to his advantages, he was there when Kryta became under rule by Queen Salma. Although unlike his father, he actually suffered a defeat and that came 10yrs before his fathers death when he and a group of soliders attempted to stop the charr from completely over taking Ascalon city and unleashing The Foefire. I remember my father telling me how he was there when Primordous, the first of the elder dragons awoke from his slumber. That dragon to this very day still controls the underground caverns where the Asura used to inhabit. He also recieved word that Cantha no longer had a faction war between the Luxon and Kurzick, and that Emporer Usoku had united them and driven out anything that wasnt a human. 7years after Cantha's purging... our fellow commrades, the Sunspears were defeated by the very person my great grandfather had reawoken to defeat Abbadon... his name is Palawa Joko the mighty undead lord. My grandfathers last stand came while traveling in the northern shiverpeaks... he heard alot of rumbling and then the ice burst up into the night sky... and emerged the elder ice dragon known as Jormag. He fought valiantly but untlimately he was slain on the field of battle.
My father Keation Shickabunis III was born 1 year before his father died fighting the Jormag. Growing up was hard for him, he never had a father figure in life to show him the ways of life, hence while his mother told him stories about his couragous acts, he never grasped the concept until he met his master. He spent most of his early life dedicated to learning the way of the sword so that he could one day take revenge on Jormag. Fueled by inspiration he became the Queens personal bodyguard and took an oath that as he shall live, he will dedicate his life into protecting the world. That was destroyed in the year 1219 AE, when Zhaitan, the most powerful of all the elder dragons awoke beneath the drowned city of Orr, bringing the drowned city back up to the surface and those who were already killed when the city was sunk were turned into his undead minions bent on destroying every living thing. Upon bringing Orr back to the surface, the city of Lions Arch was drowned by multiple tidal waves and his promise to the queen was destroyed. Although he wasnt banished from Divinitys reach he was looked upon with shame. He recieved a message from some corsairs that they were trying to rebuild the town of Lions Arch, the place would eventually become the new entrance to the Mists. One of his final acts was joining a guild known as Destinys Edge, formed by a Norned named Eir Stegalkin. Their goal was to defeat the all the dragons and they actually came close to defeating one of them. The elder dragon Kralkatorrik arose in the charr homelands and traveled south, destroying everything in his path until he got to the crystal dessert. Allied with the dragon known as Glint, Destinys Edge nearly took down Kralkatorrik but before the final blow was made he noticed that one of his friends was missing... Logan Thackery had abandoned them and the dragon was able to get away and while getting away he made one final attack killing my father and a few others. RIP Father
Now its my time, i will forge my destiny and defeat the elder dragons unlike my father and grand fathers before me. With the power of Balthazarr and the wealth of being a noble in Divinitys Reach, i will look far and wide for allies of all sort. Fighting alone against the dragons is impossible, but united we can save the world from their wrath and bring peace to a world that has only known war.

cool role playing and story there. that's one of the things that gets me excited about Guild Wars 2 - the rich lore, and the ability for players to add in their own thoughts and background to it.
I might try to come up with some background stuff for my future characters and eveen post it sometime - you've inspired me. I just don't have too much time to brainstorm and post it now, but again maybe in the future.
