Curious about server selection
Hi Guys,
I was wondering on which servers you guys will be playing on.
I think these are the launch servers:

*Update 1: I am going to be playing on Jagged Coast. The thing that is worrying me about this server is, all those level 60 pro NA PvPers from the Korean servers will be coming to this server, I am going to get steam rolled lol :P.

Also i know for a fact quiet a few guilds have been talking with each other (mine included) to pick a server to go on but so far i think its only been the guild leader that knows anything. Idk how other guilds are working but we don't know where we going till friday =P
i know!p gonna be hard not playing or at least bumping into some of the familiar names from here !p we almost have our own Tera Family here lol.

This intrigues me because while I don't really RP that much I do find that rp servers tend to be more mature and have more player run events. Gonna wait and see how this plays out before I decide.

EME will be makinga 4th pvp server for sure because teh sever vs server is 4 way so you have to have 4 server. My guess is EME going to test how the rp pvp server will be and if it works out they will make the new pvp server rp server. Because name regulation on rp server i don't think they will turn an exsiting pvp server in to rp server.
I also plan to play on Arborea. Do you have a guild yet? Or a name?
Me and my friends are playing on Valley of Titans. It was our beta server and was fun so I figured I'd just play there on release as well.

Unfortunatley I have to split my time between a pve server and a pvp server as I would like to play on a pvp server but I have some long time friends who don't want to play on a pvp server.

My current guild selected Blightwood so for PVE I'll be over there, and I was thinking of doing PVP over on VOT, so I'll look you up once things get rolling.

I'll be completely honest. Open World Pvp on a PvP server scares the hell out of me in this game. I'm not a great PvPer to begin with, and I don't relish the idea of getting my ass handed to me on a PvP server in a game where aiming is so key. I'm bad enough in tab-target games. On the other hand, I really feel like I'll be missing a key part of the game if I roll on a PvE server. So I'm debating about whether to roll on a PvP server and just try to get in with an active guild early on for some protection.
My main fear is that rolling on a PvP server will take away my enjoyment of exploring the world since I'll be scared shitless and watching my back every second. Then again, maybe that will add to the excitement. Not sure what I'm going to do yet.
Roll on pvp is my advice, sure you will win some and die alot but we all do. If you skip on a pvp server then you will be skipping out on content. Just remember if the heat gets too hot in the kitchen you can always make another character on a pve server.
As for me I'll be making a character on BC, got to have at least a little bit of RP with my pvp

I would say start PvP and change to PvE later if you don't like it. The distinct advantage of starting a game is that there aren't very many people above you twinked out to camp the starter areas. The starter areas will be full of blood thirsty newbies ready to wreck anyone that comes ganking and it can be a blast depending on how it plays out.
If you don't like it then reroll on PvE where it doesn't matter how geared out everyone else is.
